If you want to order something else while a free delivery order is still open, after you've placed the subsequent order you can combine it with the free delivery order. I've done it a few times - it's great, as I always remember something else I want just after I've sent the first order on its way!
Thanks - I was wondering whether that would be possible.0 -

Hi. Not a regular 'poster', but was interested in this one. Have just purchased an iPod Nano and Docking Station from Amazon for my daughter's Xmas present, having shopped around for prices on the internet. Amazon came up quite well on price shown, so purchased. Didn't realise though that both of these items were subject to VAT until after I have clicked to proceed and completed the order. It was only when I printed out the full invoice that I noticed. Not too happy as made both these items more expensive than elsewhere. Also, didn't know I could have got Quidco points, as searched for Amazon on Quidco and it didn't find it. Boo Hoo!0

Remember you pay VAT on the delivery charge. While Amazon's standard delivery under £15 is usually listed as costing £2.75, this is the pre-VAT cost, so actually the total is delivery is £3.23.
I did not know that!!!! Cheeky :mad:0 -

If the price drops claim the cash back. If the price you've paid is lowered within 30 days of purchase you can be credited with the difference, although Amazon won't do it automatically, you have to ask for it, so it's always worth keeping an eye out.
Simply visit your account and look at each invoice from the last thirty days and click on each item to view it's current price. Compare this to the price you paid and if there's a difference, copy down the order number and go to the 'Return and Refunds Contact Form' page to report it.
Does this apply to amazon.com as well or just amazon.co.uk?0 -

Hi
I am not sure if this has been posted before but it's a useful bit of information for all Amazon shoppers.
Amazon offer a post-order price drop guarantee which means that if Amazon.co.uk's price for an already-released item decreases within 30 days after they dispatch the item to you, they will be glad to refund the difference in price if you contact them.
Log into your Amazon account.- In the Where's My Stuff section click on track packages then click search on recent orders.
- Select any orders which have been despatched within the last 30 days. The order summary will show you the price you paid on the right.
- To check the current price of the item, click on the item description.
- If the current price is less than you paid you just need to email Amazon stating the price has been reduced since you purchased it and they will refund the difference to the card you paid with.
- To email Amazon scroll to the very bottom of the page and there is a Contact Us button. Click this and then on the right hand side of the page click on the Customer Service button.
- Your recent orders will be displayed. You can check the box of the item you are referring to and type your message and submit.
- Applies only to products that have already been released. Products that have not yet been released but that are available for pre-order from Amazon.co.uk are not covered by this guarantee.
- Applies only to items sold by Amazon.co.uk, and not to items (or prices) offered by other sellers on our site.
- Item prices that are affected by a promotion such as "Buy one, get one free" are not eligible.
- The price of an item after rebate is not considered to be the Amazon.co.uk price.
Hope this saves you a few extra pennies:rotfl:My mantra is "Never pay full price!"0 -

It may be a good idea to use the search function to save on duplicate threads. HTH0
