When I started my Open University course in September I ordered 2 books from Amazon. Turned out not to need them until January, when I opened one of them the last 50 pages were upside down! I contacted Amazon and because they didn't have the book in stock told me to send it back and they would refund me - I ended up getting over £17 back as they refunded THEIR postage rate twice and it only cost me a fraction of that to send it back - happy days :-)

Read your info on Amazon refund if price drops and immediately checked my purchase of food processor 2 weeks ago and yes, a 10.25 drop. Had trouble with your link so just e-mailed customer service, and received an e back acknowledging refund within 12 hours! Many thanks.

Good point; but the upper limit is in fact £55, not £50.

The affiliates idea is a a cracker. I'm definitely going to try that. But does anyone know if that scheme works for amazon marketplace? That's where I do the majority of my amazon shopping. Very good for cheap CDs (usually courtesy of some offshore tax avoiding setup.)
