Four Top Amazon Buying Tips

This seems to have changed as I have noticed a saving which I would be eligible for on this scheme but there is no mention of this scheme on the Amazon site any longer - shucks0

HI can anyone talk me through how to get my refund from Amazon?
I bought an xbox 360 20-odd days ago and it has dropped by £40 today so I am eager to claim this back as per Martin's money tips.

I have never done this before and can't make any sense of how to do this on the website.
Any help appreciated.

You just email them, but it has to be purchased from Amazon directly, not one of their associated shops.
For example I bought a pair of shoes through amazon, but the shoes came from schuch, so when the price changed Amazon would not refund the difference.0 -
oh ok thanks, reading Martin's article it sounded like the website had a specific form you filled in. Off to email now..

No the refunds thingy has not changed - I think they have just made it harder to find, that's all!!
I just sent them an email using the contact customer service box re: the order number and asked for the difference back - in my case £40. Just received email saying they will put it back onto my card - result, thanks Martin!

Wasn't sure there was an official form to fill in as such, but I followed someone's previous guidelines by sending them an email through the 'contact us' button, stating the original amazon reference number and the price difference.
I'd purchased a few of the Sandisk 4gb USB memory sticks for 12.99 and a day later they dropped to 9.99. In praise of amazon they responded within a half hour to say they were looking into it, and within another 2 I had the difference back!
Well worth knowing about, but seemingly not as easy to find information about on amazon FAQ pages0 -
thanks for this, I claimed £3 back from them today and they were very quick to refund me too0

can you claim more than once, ie if something drops by £10 one week, then a further £10 the next, can you get the 2nd £10 back too? (if that makes sense!)0
