New Ebay Feedback System - Now Live!

I use the option Sellers Standard rate - this means I can choose 2nd class to maximise profit, but if I dont make it to the post office for a day or two then I can send first class.
In reality there is very little difference between the two services - when I post both at the same time, I tend to find the feedback arrives from buyers on the same day.
i often buy dvds and games quite cheaply, watch/play them and then sometimes manage to sell them for a little more than i have paid for them because potential buyers can't be bothered to look through my buying history but now it will be very easy for buyers to just look at my feedback and spot the same item and see how much i have paid for it
i may have to start putting sellers standard rate and do the same, but i did like to give my buyers the option to have cheaper postage with 2nd class, or pay a bit more for 1st class if they wanted the item a bit sooner. also the option for recorded delivery and special delivery if they need something urgently.0 -
Well I've sent them an email to say I'm unhappy about the new system.
Don't suppose it'll have any affect - unless ALL the people who are unhappy send them emails too..."A simple life freely chosen is a source of strength. Do not be pursuaded into buying what you do not need or cannot afford." Quaker Faith & Practice 1.02.410 -
the only thing that i can see that this new feedback system is good for is spotting people who have built up their feedback buying cheap items like ebooks0

I started using only 1st class postage at christmas, and decided to keep using it as the buyers would be very happy and leave nice feedback very quickly.0

i feel way too naked now. a second account is a must now.
Jake how about setting up a poll on the first post so we can get more feedback on this new system.0 -

Unless the item is sold as a private listing - no price or description is displayed.
The Powersellers forum on ebay is on meltdown - lots of unhappy people around, including lingerie sellers.<--- Nothing to see here - move along --->0 -
hate it hate it hate it. Like someone else has said, the information being laid bare on the page is terrible, price and description. Why have they done this?! Couldn't people just click the auction number if they were really interested in an item you'd bought/sold?
With this and Turbo Lister 1 running out in April I'm seriously thinking about stopping using ebay. It's becoming a headache!Thank you to everyone who posts comps! :A
I would like to be lucky,healthy & happy in 2020! :T0 -
I actually like the new feedback system, now I can see the dodgy sellers who have purchased a load of ebooks to improve their rating. I think it will help people being ripped off in the future!"He's a maniac, maniac that's for sure,

yes it will help buyers to buy things safer but it will not help sellers to sell things0
