I fill it till it's full and sign on the dotted line about three times a week...0

I do the same, but as you only get a point for every £2 I round up to multiples of £2.
Swipe a Tesco Clubcard Credit Card and you still get 1 point per £1, even if you pay with something else (another card, cash, fuel card).
I pay with a PHH AllStar Card and just swipe the Clubcard Credit Card first.British Ex-pat in British Columbia!0 -
2nd click for me.Google gives you answers use it.........0

I always do it to a round litre as I get my petrol from Morrisons so get the mile points per litre. for some reason the petrol from morrisons always lasts a lot longer than petrol from anywhere else so I make a special trip to fill up there.0

For many years I would get £5 worth, when I could afford it. Then the attendant would put the petrol in for you.
Nowadays I fill up to the second click as I routinely keep track of my mpg.0 -
To the pound, and it seems these machines can smell a penny in my pocket. So it's X amounts of £ plus 1p.0

Life's too short. I just fill it 'til it stops.Je suis Charlie.0

Fill to the brim pay using a cash back credit card ..and in about 600 miles go back and do the same0

I fill it right up and stop whenever it clicks. If I'm almost to the nearest full litre say 64.93 litres, I'll make it up to 64 just to get that extra point. As some has said, I pay by card, so there's no point rounding it to the nearest pound.
Even paying by cash, the assistant will still give you change, and will probably take less time to do so than fiddling about at the pump rounding it to the nearest pound. Then you find you go over accidentally by 1p, then more faffing about finding that 1p (if you haven't one handy or unless the assistant lets you off).0 -
I usually just fill the tank up approx 2/3rds full.
There are a number of petrol stations along my commute route to work so no need to fill to the brim every time.0
