I wish the pumps in the UK would allow you to just put £x0 in, like they do in other countries.

I would like to just press £20 and thats what it puts in. Simples.

Some Tesco pumps have that option.

Always to the next round litre after the first click as most of the fuel loyalty cards work to whole litres not pounds. - and using a full 55litre tank every 4 days it maks a small difference.

(due to the design of my tank filler it clicks really early so can easily fit another couple in befor you can se it in the filler pipe)

On the Cabs we always filled until it was brim full. 'Cos you were changing drivers from the day man to the night man you'd pass it over full. That's why when you see a taxi filling up he'll often jump up and down on the bumper to get the diesel to settle right up the tube.
Now in the car i just put level pounds in.

I always fill to the top, I just pay for my fuel as normal so no benefit doing it any other way.

I do the same, but as you only get a point for every £2 I round up to multiples of £2.

Depends on where I'm filling up but usually Morrisons where I get points per litre so therefore fill up to the nearest full litre.
