Well it's official. I have finally ran out of month

I received a text from my bank yesterday kindly informing me that I had only £30 ish of available credit and to pay in some money as soon as I could! If I had money to pay in I wouldn't be in the bl@@dy predicament :mad: So, I tried in vain to increase my overdraft again but they just weren't having it
During the night, dd woke up and whilst I was settling her off to sleep I realised that I hadn't yet put diesel in the car (1/4 tank left) and that my mobile bill hadn't come out, so I resigned myself to thinking that I'd have no other choice but to go over the overdraft and succumb to £5 daily charges.
This morning I checked online banking and realised that my dd for mobile comes out on or around 23rd so I've just contacted them and asked if they could change it to the 1st, that way all the dd's come out together, ish. Thankfully the nice man on the phone said he could arrange that for me :T and because there's still over two weeks left of the month, this should be in place for June :T:T:T. so, that just leaves me with the predicament of diesel and I think that I'll just put in what I can when I need it. I really hope I stay with my od limit
:(
On a brighter note however
normally at this point I would have started using my other bank account but last month (prior to diary) I had gone over the od limit of £500 and managed to claw in money that was sitting idle in other accounts and put it back into the black, meaning that my true od limit was £2100 but it's now only £1700 :j:j so I'm determined not to use that bank again. I really hope that returning to work in June will make us better off (I know it should but unless I get the tax credits coming through at the right amount, I just don't know and to top it all off, you ave to wait for HMRC to send the reward notice through the post, they won't tell you over the phone ) So, June pay day should be interesting :rotfl: Proud to be dealing with my debts :T

Forgot about the flipping milkman
I'm starting to have a complete panic...got a letter about HMRC re Tax Credits, wanting proof of nursery fees paid in the last year - there haven't been any, so I took a closer look at paperwork and it's still on there. Why haven't I checked this properly:wall:
I do however have a scribbled note on old paperwork of the date I made the phone call to inform them of this, as well as the name of the person I spoke to. I really feel like crying
it's unlike me not to check properly but probably with having a new baby it's taken a back seat. I'm soooo cross with myself cause we'll probably end up paying a penalty
The stress is making me feel I'll _pale_ Proud to be dealing with my debts :T

Just wanted to say hello. Dont worry to much the start is always the worst time. You are doing everything right and it will soon settle down into a routine. I still have things that arent planned for like car expenses, birthdays etc, but its getting easier and the debt is definitely going in right direction! Cheer up and congratulate yourself on getting to grips with it all now. well done.:TVisa £[STRIKE]5063 [/STRIKE]now 0. Loan 1 €[STRIKE]4885[/STRIKE] now 0. Thanks turfy6. X
I did have childcare in last tax year but not all the way through  I've got my evidence to send off tomorrow. Hope it's all ok.
Good news is that some of my goodies have sold on eBay, whats even better is that one of the bulkier items is being collected so it saves me going to post office :T
Thats all for now folks

Morning all, :hello: I feel a lot brighter this morning. I posted my invoices to HMRC first thing today so I hope that will be all ok...my only worry is that some of the invoices from my previous childminder were hand written as her printer had broke but they have all her details so I guess they could contact her to verify if they're not happy with them being handwritten.
I relished some of my unsold items last night on eBay, I'm currently waiting in for one of my items to be collected, I said before 10 so fingers crossed, it shouldn't be much longer.
I've had quite a few NSD's lately :T but I'm going to have to break my run cause I need to get postal bags and a few packed lunch goodies, plus dd is at dancing tonight  but still, it's been very minimal which is good.
I don't think there's anything else to report yet - except it's 3 weeks till pay day and 4 weeks till I'm back at work :undecided:
 Bye for now :wave:Proud to be dealing with my debts :T

Wow! You are doing so well. I can hardly hold it together and I have no children! I love your idea about reading the roll of honour - I haven't done that for a while, would be good to visualise what the future [STRIKE]could [/STRIKE] WILL be like.Grocery Challenge £114.22/ £1100

Thanks hedgesparrow...I love the roll of honour, it's so inspirational. We will get there :T. Positive thinking and all that x
Had to go to 1celand this morning for some packed lunch essentials. Spent 8.75 so I will add that to my new grocery challenge signature. I'm quite looking forward to starting the challenge afresh in June so that I can see what I can save

:hello:
Afternoon all,
I have just finished creating a snowball spreadsheet and I have worked out that I can get my cc and loan paid off by February 2014 :T :T I've not included the overdraft in this as I'm not quite sure how I'm going to be able to pay that off, other than use less money out of my bank (or win the lottery  )
Anyway Feb '14 sounds great doesn't it...but there's only one flaw...that assumes paying the maximum I can afford each month but that would leave me with no money saved for Christmas :xmassmile or emergencies _pale_. Obviously OH could help with the Christmas expense but he is self employed so his earnings are a) unreliable and b) variable
So basically I'm trying to cover all options myself and four kids = expensive
My 0% on the cc ends March 2014 so I'd really like to avoid getting another card. I'm going to change my signature 'cause at the start I aimed for May 2014 as a dfd, obviously hadnt done my sums properly  and also, some loan payments have come off since I started the diary :j
It's good to have a plan though

I'm back...
I had a dream (isn't that a song...) that I had got the car tax renewal month wrong...and indeed I have :j it's not due till the end of June so that gives me extra time to save up for it. That takes the pressure off abit.
My to do list for the next week is as follows:
* advertise baby clothes in paper, they don't seem to be selling on eBay
* send off eBay goodies that have sold
* look into selling books on Amazon
* list leather jacket on eBay
I think that's all for now xxProud to be dealing with my debts :T
