The thread is spent trying to educate shortround that he's wrong... But we never got through yet again...

btw at the time the oil price is about the same as it is now, I'd love to hear the explanations how high oil prices caused the current negative growth... Over to you shortround.

Guys, or those that will take some notice of what I say at least.

Can we just ignore several posters?

It's pretty clear that they are here only to argue, lie, twist and shake. Shortchanged, I remember you predicting a recesion, or not so much predicting it per se, but talking about falling back into recession.

You simply stated that the trigger would be oil prices at a certain level, and all this hoo hah stems from that. Oil prices didn't quite reach that level, so certain posters are falling over themselves to prove you wrong somehow, suggesting that it wasn't hard to predict a double dip etc, even though they never did, actually quite the contrary.

I also predicted it, but didn't put a specific date on it, therefore everything thats happening to you now happened on the first few pages.

Some people just simply cannot stand the fact, in this instance, you were right. You and I have been wrong in many other instances, and I don't recall it leading to this. We've been wrong more than we've been right....just like everyone else, but for some reason, all this happens because you were right, in this instance.

The forum has simply fallen down many levels since a certain poster arrived again. I've been banned from here for replying and continuing the argument before now, so I wouldn't want it to happen to anyone else. My advice was to ignore it. It's difficult however when its all pure lies being spread wherever and whatever you post. Even a brand new fresh thread is ruined within the first 5 posts with the same nonsense.

If we can just ignore it, then it might go away, however it is difficult, but I'm sure posters outside of this little spat are fully aware of what's going on here.

I expect a load of bile from this post, but that's life. Stick yer neck out and some cannot resist. Well hopefully others will resist, and the arguments will die down. All I would like to see is you remaining a poster and not falling foul to a banning for being involved.

Why don't you just put Chucky and 'several' other posters on ignore if it upsets you that much?
