Sorry to hear you had a bad experience with ATOS.
I did too. 0 points for bipolar/cyclothymia and severe anxiety.
Good report from my GP too.
A registered nurse did my medical. I didn't know that until I got a copy of my report.
I appealed and was let down by a useless adviser and the GP at the tribunal seemed like he was on ATOS's payroll. Very harsh with me and totally uncaring.

Fight it and get what you deserve!
I am now on jobseekers and dreading getting ill again, because on top of the illness, you have to go through these medicals and be made to feel like a liar! He made out my GP was just writing what I told him to.

I was too ill to fight and just signed on. Which is what they want :(

After my 2nd appeal and only getting 6 points i to have signed on to jobseekers and cant be bothered with a fight with all the lies these ATOS lot have said but i do advise everyone to get it recorded and write to your MP and HM Courts and Tribunal Service as i have done.Just got a letter back from them and my complaint is referred to the Investigating Judical Office Holder and they will let me know in time but they said i should be aware that copies of my complaint will be sent to the Tribunal members that i named.I dont suppose that will stop them from telling more lies about people it will probably end up in the bin.
  • sangio ref the phonecall i had, i would rather she had done that than just rejected the claim as no points, money would be stopped and would have thrown everything up in the air.
as it was after speaking to me and going thru what the doctor had imagined i got changed decision from having no points to being put in the wrag and her suggesting if i feel i should remain in the support group to put in for reconsideration or appeal.
when you have nothing to hide i dont see a differance between speaking to an decision maker on the phone and an atos health proffessional , and fone is much quicker.

    Just a update,

The DWP (with out it going to appeal) have looked at my case again and decided to put me back on to IB. They are going to back date all money owned. I am happy at the moment first time in 2 months.

Does that mean that, following your tribunal, and signing on, you are no longer ill?

yes it will, but it should also apply to people with permanent disabilities on middle rate and high rate dla etc. just think of the money the tax payer will save, oh and Atos will lose.
