the problem is that no matter what is said they often put the complete opposite of what is said and that is the issue, the answers no matter how specific are not being recorded accurately to be a true reflection of what has been stated ,
I am responsible me, myself and I alone I am not the keeper others thoughts and words.

YES, Thats what she did to me she twisted stuff i said that would have gave me points so i never got any also added stuff i never said.

Just glad i got the letter from ATOS saying my report lacked details and section were poorly explain by her. Not sure what the DWP will make of it. I refuse to have another medical done by ATOS.

I refuse to have another medical done by ATOS.

In that case, the most likely case - if the medical is thrown out - is that you will be requested to have another medical, and when you do not cooperate, your benefit will be stopped.
There is little discretion in the process once you refuse to attend the medical, for other than the best reasons.

    'Not liking ATOS' doesn't count.

You've wrongly taken issue with my style of prose. I've just done an ATOS medical a month ago and passed into the support category. I was briefed by the forces representative from CAB before I went so I knew how to explain my symptoms in order to FIT THEIR QUESTIONING. Their questions are designed to see which categories you fit into. It's no good saying: I have a terrible sore back and it's lumbago. You have to explain how having a sore back restricts you: can you sit for long periods, can you move from chair to chair etc.

The tests are specifically designed to see what work you CAN DO.

Now that's what's really wrong with the system!

What I mean is I don't have the confidence in them to do another medical after the way they have twisted and added stuff.

I guess if i had to i would request it be recorded and take a friend in with me.

Hi Candlelight2012, I dont know if your on facebook but there's a group called the work and benefits support group

the link if you wanna join up is

    http://www.facebook.com/BenefitsandWorkPublishing

This is a completely free And legitimate group whose only aim is to assist people in claiming the benefits they are fully entitled to. they should be able to answer your questions.

PS for any mods or group guides I am in no way affiliated or connected with this facebook group and am pureply offering advice on the OP.s query.

    cheers!

I looked into the recording of WCA a couple of months or so ago and found some information which I posted on another forum I'm a member of (some of it came from the B&W website).

There are also a couple of form letters at the end of the post which can be used to make a request to have your assessment recorded:

  • strangely i just had a call from a decision maker about my esa, having passed as having limited capability for work 3 times, and put into the support group on appeal a few months ago this time round i have apparently scored no points ....hmmmm.
i have to say the lady today was realy nice and went thru all the descriptors with me again marking down where i disagreed with doctors comments and has gone off to look at it again along with previous medical records held and has said a decision will be made today and she will call back with the result.

my situation as i live on my own is thatl il still qualify for income related payments even if not put in support group again, and if no esa il qualify for ir jsa , but hey if iv suddenly improved i wish someone would let my body know lol.

im not letting it get to me cos theres no point.
