hey
its a company that offer work from home, I can't say much as I had to sign a confidentially agreement but they pay over minimum wage and you have to complete a minimum number of hours of work...I figured I'd give it ago.
Thanks but it's a shame that you can't say much. I had a look at their homepage but it says that you need to speak an additional language and I can't. Boo!0 -
hey there well done.
seriously if you can do something about your internet you should as lots of people are giving 6 months free even for unlimited if you are a heavy user - £50pcm is really high unless there is something extra that we are not aware of
if you are on sky they might give you a special deal even after they improved your TV as they like you having it all with them (I am and its all been fine)I think I saw you in an ice cream parlour
Drinking milk shakes, cold and long
Smiling and waving and looking so fine0 -
I second shop and scan. I signed up with them and got an invite a few months later. I now get £10 in vouchers around every 6 weeks for scanning my food shopping with a mini blipper thing they send you.
Good luck with all your exploits - sounds like you have really been tackling things head on. Has it occurred to you that your new man might have debts he's scared to tell you about?Grocery Challenge £114.22/ £1100 -

Ok so today has been boring! but I've sorted out quite a few bits to stick on ebay :j
I also have all my paperwork for the FOS for a santander claim that i found on another thread a few weeks ago (sent me a final answer and then another 2 weeks later saying sorry they haven't replied yet!) obviously the left hand doesn't know what the right is doing!
I've also dug out pay slips from a couple of jobs i've had where I had to wear a uniform.. it was only for a little while so it wont be a huge sum but it all counts
I also bought something I didnt really need need so I was very lucky in that the shop takes refunds so that will be £26.99 coming back to me in the next week or so.
So they are already for the post box tomorrow
I have about £85 spare after i've paid out for the rest of my travel this month as all my bills bar the debt listed below have been paid which isn't too shabby... I need to try and save as much as that as I can the £245 management bill is actually due on the 14th so the more money I have to pay towards that the better....

It must be Karma! I came home to a letter out of the blue from the taxman.... my heart sunk....:o
"Dear Miss Wiggles, The company you worked for 3 years ago had you on the wrong taxcode please find enclosed a cheque for £1,800!!!"
I kept reading and re-reading... :rotfl: I can't believe it!! Im shocked I actually cried!!
So I made a cup of tea and I'm trying to work out how to use it...
So I'm thinking...- Pay off the electricity and then see if I can move to a cheaper company (£240.06)
- Pay off the money owed to the management company (£245.00)
- Save £200 to spend on holiday next month

- Put £600 into a savings account... this will be to sub me when I (hopefully) change jobs as there might be a longer gap in wages or something
I was thinking this way it will be a mental milestone 1 card is gone I've only got 2 to go.... what does everyone think???
I still can't believe it this time next week i'll have so much more freedom financially to sort over payments....
I'm so excited I can feel the weight lifting already!!! i'm getting to the bank first thing tomorrow as fast as my little legs can carry me...:rotfl::beer::beer::beer::beer:LBM: £18,426.870 -

£5 a day challenge april £338 /£1500 -
Hi there just read your diary. Well done on the tax rebate. You could offer a creditor a full and final settlement for less than the amount owed maybe?
chevI want a job that is less than an hour driving away from my house! Are you listening universe?

I had some bad news ont he mystery shopper front - they didn't give me a receipt for my second purchase so the company have refused to pay out
bit annoying they have the meal receipt and the car parking ticket - and i explained that the guy left the till without even offering a reciept - i guess I have to be uber careful for the next one..
I used to do mystery shops, thinking it would curb my shopaholic tendencies and maybe bring in a bit of extra cash. All I actually found was that I ended up eating a lot more fast food than I should, (its not as though I wasn't already over-weight) and that the fee they paid didn't always cover my expenses.
I learnt my lesson with 2 failed mystery shops, one where I'd asked for no ice in my cola and the second when I reported that I thought I'd been spotted. The final straw came for me when I stayed in a hotel for a night and having submitted my review, spent at least 2 wks answering additional questions. Most of these were due to my saying I'd passed a male staff member in the corridor when entering my room. I couldn't describe him as he was on the floor rummaging in a box and did not look up. Despite saying this, I got asked things like "how tall was he" "was he wearing glasses?" "what colour eyes did he have?"
May as well have asked me his inside leg measurements. I wish I'd lied when answering this question as it caused me no end of grief and nearly ended up costing me £150, a fee that you have to pay up front and then claim back. I got reimbursed in the end but it was hard work. I never made any money doing this and most of the things I purchased were either rubbish or involved in a refund process too.
Hope it works out better for you. You've made a really good start and I'm sure you will achieve all your goals.Targets

SO! today I came home to a letter from the mortgage company....earlier in the year I asked them if I could re-mortgage and they agreed at a rate £80 a month less than i'm currently paying.... they said it would start in August BUT the letter today says it starts this month! the man on the phone must have been wrong!!!!
I know it can't all be up but I really feel that someone up there is looking after me because I've actually decided to face up to my mess! all I can do is make the most of it while i'm on the up!
I will have to re-do my SOA to reflect all this!
I've sent my Uniform tax rebate and my loan letter off to the FOS this morning (a claim I started a couple of months ago while I was a lurker)...I have also typed a letter to check PPI for a car loan I had a few years ago..
I feel so awesome right now.. I know this wont last and I still have a long long way to go but thank you so so much to everyone that has posted so far, on my diary and on the boards - you have totally inspired me to get active and finally I'm on the up for the last time in a long long time..I feel in control a bit more each day and a step further and further away from the old me
I would hug each and everyone of you if i could! LBM: £18,426.870
