    Hi Wiggles.

I think you and me have something in common...... Hiding.
I would like you to read my recent post titled "Diary of a dishonest husband".
I too have been keeping my debt out of sight from my partner. I would say that aside from the fact my debt is slightly less than yours, It is a much more scary prospect telling her, as she is my wife of 4 months and partner of 8 years!!
I am scared out of my skin about how it's going to go down, but I can't take the pressure anymore!

I would suggest that you also work out a good time to tell him as the pressure is just going to build on you, as it has with me, making me feel ill at times....

All the best with everything and it's nice to see what you've achieved up till now ;)

Thanks Snozberry - you are so right... i'm going to try and be much better at getting on here its a real pick me up

So now all the bills are paid I have £521 left over which is a massive amount so my plan is:

    • put £75 away for my road tax next month
    • put 206 in my train fare account
    • keep £100 aside for a wedding I have this month, I have accomodation I just want to make sure I have enough for taxi's etc.. as I don't know where we are staying in relation to the venue - with any luck some of that be left over
    • split £140 into £5 notes - that will be my daily allowance
So far all I have is a sunday lunch with friends and a BBQ (!) thursday other than the wedding so aim of the game is to have the first £5 in the purse for as long as possible ... I reckon it will still be there this time next week....:rotfl:
    • Going to ring the taxman re: my uniform refund - as I'm sure thats £70 odd and I wrote to them over a month ago
    • Still no movement on my Santie issue - FOS is involved now so we shall see - 11 weeks to go..
    • No response from santie re: PPI on a car I had so I think I will write to them again tomorrow
    • Chase up quidco on my breakdown cover
Spent a lot of time analysising my electricity usage today and i'm pleased to say that is a lot less than last year I'm being really stingy my hall light is so bright when the BF isn't here that one bulb is the only one I use a night as with my laptop it lights up every room! apparently i've saved enough to light my house for 3 weeks so far :T

I have to say I feel for the RBS customers I'd be dead in the water without my accounts - makes me think I should keep £100 stashed somewhere just in case...

Well I could have kissed my postie this morning! :D

Got a letter from the taxman.. i was expecting a letter re: my uniform rebate...but when I opened it... £259 rebate looks like its coming my way!! I wont get my hopes up until the cash is in my account - but wow what a lovely surprise! It doesn't say when I will get it but that will mean I can pay off my service charge arrears..then there is always the issue that i've filled my tax return out wrong i suppose! :rotfl:

getting of my backside at 2pm to blitz the place ready for my BF arriving tonight for the weekend.. nice cheap one planned

so far the £5 note is still in the purse...will it survive the weekend???.....
