Nelski, you've reminded me - I need to get in touch with my former housemate about shifting my old wardrobe from his house. I left it there because it's big and heavy, nobody on Freecycle wanted it, and I knew if it ever went into my flat it would never come out :rotfl: My lovely removal men shifted it downstairs, to make it easier to get rid of by whatever means necessary, but AFAIK it is still sitting in ex-housemate's front room. He was going to call the council about that and a few other bulky bits he needed rid of, and we were going to split the cost. I was reviewing my accounts last week and realised that my "moving house budget" still has a small sum allocated for this.
Must pop over there soon, actually, either this weekend or next, as I need to collect the other thing that's still at his house - about 7 bottles of wine belonging to meNow I've got my trusty [STRIKE]Wally Trolley [/STRIKE]Chic Shopper it will be a doddle to collect them AND I can do my weekly fruit & veg run to the market on my way back.
(Penny-Pincher!! - perhaps if I'm back over there in the imminent future we could have a cuppa together?)
kyle/Loubee - sorry, am not ignoring your pics, but my work PC doesn't allow me to view them - will have to wait till I get home. Talking of pics, AMIE399 you were asking yesterday about making your holiday snaps small enough to view comfortably online. The easiest way to do it is to resize them on your PC before publishing them to your photo hosting site (have a look at your editing options in the photo software you're using - "Resize" will be somewhere)I hope you get it sorted as I would love to see some more of your holiday pics

Had a meeting with the HR Director (Catbert) yesterday, seems they'll make me work a week of my notice, but give me the rest as a tax-free cheque
No movement on the job front other than registering for temp work once i'm free.
Lovely weather up here though, blue sky and high clouds! (although admittedly a little nippy)
OH and I are having a day off on Thursday. Gonna batten down the hatches after college on Wednesday and just chill out. My neck is as stiff as a board... Stress I guess!
Hugs to all, esp poorly littlies.
Good luck to Moggins in the job hunt.
PG xx
Thank you
It has been a very lively week and nothing has happened on the house front, even though we had a couple of very interested people and two no shows.
I tell you selling a house opens you up to all manner of nutty people and horrible family members don't help.
We had constant heavy rain last night and the lights flickered as it was windy. It is sunny and dry just now but breezy.
Good luck with your job hunt - I shall be in the same boat when I move.An average day in my life:hello: :mad: :coffee::coffee::coffee::T:rotfl: :rotfl:

I am no expert in property but have lived in many types of homes, in many locations and can only talk from experience.0 -
Moggins - from yesterday.
"He has been called back into work unexpectedly and has had to ask me if he can stay here for the next couple of days until he gets a chance to look for anything. As actually he will be working when I am sleeping and sleeping while I am out tomorrow it isn't actually going to affect me all that much. So I was Lady Bountiful and have agreed he can stay as long as he doesn't get in the way."
Moggins - just had a thought. If OH is going to be in the house while you are out, have you printed/copied to disc all the messages you found on the computer? He may remember and do a clear out of anything incriminating.0 -

In fact it was just one of the big lorries that eat up the normal bin rubbish. It was very alarming when he just threw the cabinet in (its wood and a lot of glass) and then turned the machinery on and it just splurted glass all over the road:eek:  was funny though seeing him clean it up with my little dust pan and brush:rotfl:
So now I have a garage back:j lets see what else I have to fill it with:o

Hi Yall, weather is glorious and srping-like here in the emids - sorry to all those suffering wind and rain:o
I had a great weekend at the coast. the weather was fine most of the time so plenty of walks across the sands. It wasn't all play tho and the place is spick and span and shining like a new pin thanks to star drops, bleach and elbow grease (mine) LOL
In noticed on ebay on Sunday evening two items, one sold for £10 the other for £9, they have the same thing in the local charity shop for £3 so I bought it this morning and will stick on ebay - does that make me wickedI'm starting to feel a bit guilty now. LOL It is a shop I send loads of stuff down to tho, so can I be excused:o
Got a bit of online banking and stuff to do this afto and a good book softly calling me name. LOL House jobs, cooking and paid2clicks are done so just maybe I can allow a chapter or two...LOL
Lent group tonight and I've just remember I am supposed to read the next section in the study and prepare:eek: Oh heck!
I'm trying to catch up on the OS doings/ I've read Moggins news:eek: Hope you are keeping strong Mogs - there's nothing like flaunting an new hair-do to steel your wool. (hugs)
Kyle - those cards are great:T Well done you. I warn you it is adictive tho, Mrs ATH would have us all stamped, stick dotted and embossed if we didn't keep on the move. LOL
Hugs to all and enjoy the rest of the day
