Had a great morn making cards, made about 4-5, doing different techniques, then in the evening made a mothers day card which hubby wants for his mum:D

    Morning! :)

    Moggins, you're an inspiration! :T

Looking outside now it's hard to believe the horrendous weather we had yesterday - now it's blue skies and sunshine!

Cowboy stew went down well last night, cooked double quantities of the basic mince/tomatoes/onions and froze two thirds before adding the extras so the next meal can be different.

Expecting my breadmaker to be delivered today, but I don't have any yeast to try it out! I could go shopping, but then I'd miss the delivery man!

Had a big fight with OH on Sunday, we'd been busy decorating so we decided to have casserole to make it easier, I went to alot of trouble preparing and cooking it and was in the middle of serving it when he came into the kitchen. I asked him to drain the veg so I could put it on the plates, instead of just picking up the pan and holding it over the sink, for some reason he tried to clear space next to the sink by moving the lid of the casserole (just out of the oven!). He was surprised to find that it was hot  and started swearing, saying I should have warned him! THEN he told me to stick the food where the sun don't shine - I was tempted to tip it over his to be honest, but instead I just threw it in the bin :p

Lovely cards kyle! You can buy big packs of coloured blanks really cheaply from Booksale, my 14yo daughter is really into cardmaking and does all the cards I need when asked :D

Natzini, are there any other ways you can go on strike? ;)

Oooooh BM is here!! I can go shopping now :D

    Have a great day :)

    Morning :hello:

Weather is lovely, we had heavy rain earlier with thunder and lightning but all that seems to have cleared up now.

moggins, best of luck with the job hunt. And congratulations on the lack of hangover, I wish I could say the same :o What was supposed to be a nice quiet night out at the theatre by myself turned into a late and drunken one when I popped into the pub for a "swifty" afterwards and ran into a couple of people I hadn't seen for ages. Two hours and SEVERAL beers later, I left to go home... but only because it was closing time... :o

Today after work I have a singing lesson - it's supposed to be at 7 but will contact my singing teacher and see if 6:30 would be convenient. It is an hour-long lesson but we always end up chatting for ages, and the trains on my most direct route home stop running at 8:31. It would be nice if I could get home early enough to cook a batch of something before I go to bed - as I have a limited choice of meals in the fridge! My carrot and coriander soup is delicious but I had it for lunch yesterday and will be having it again today, and I think three days in a row might be a bit boring!!

Hugs to all especially those who are stressed, ill, or caring for sick kiddies.

    Rzl xx

Was busy cooking soup, HM bread, jelly and rice pudding yesterday and our son was sniffy about the food which really upset me.

We all had a row and I didn't sleep well. My OH has no loyalty to me and sides against me when people are horrible to me.

The house is still unsold and I feel trapped. I want it to sell so I can leave and be free.

Am going to do very little except the washing and rest.
    An average day in my life:hello: :eek::mad: :coffee::coffee::coffee::T :o :rotfl: :rotfl: :p :eek::mad: :beer:

Morning, I am just about to tackle my wardrobe and chuck out anything I haven't worn for 12 months......but need a coffee first. OH is on his way to the allotment with more of the stuff from the back garden, it all looks a bit of a mess at the moment, but we were offered a greenhouse yesterday for £10. I will have to put it up though and to be frank I do not think I will have the energy after we have moved, suppose we could get it delivered and just leave util we get back from our holiday in May.

The wind and rain were awful last night, there is a lot of flooding around the County, but its a bright morning, no washing to hang out....shame. I did the ironing last night.... what ever posessed me to buy a king size quilt cover with a cut work lace edging, the damn thing takes me hours to iron, mind you it does look nice on the bed.

Right off for a coffee and to check my ebay at last someone has put a bid on something so at least one thing will sell.

Well done Moggins, keep it up gal, you will get there in the end.......

    Morning All

(((hugs))) to those who need them, especially those feeling under the weather.

Kyle - those cards look great, I would like to try cardmaking one day but need to get much more organised first.

Weather here is still horrible, feeling quite energetic though luckily. Have hoovered and washed kitchen floor, been to bank to withdraw money and have washed sons bedding. Need to dry that and do dd's but am in office now for at least 1 hour to do essential stuff. Someone popped round for a chat so that delayed me but never mind.

DD is at home again today but she is quietly occupying herself.

Really need to get on as this afternoon want to pop over to kitchen suppliers to find out the price of our kitchen (am quite scared by this) and to change a couple of things on the plans. Also need to chose some worktop - wanted granite but after seeing the price have changed my mind so it probably will be some type of laminate. Am getting excited now, hate my current kitchen so much and the oven is terrible. Was going to get a range cooker but have changed my mind and have chosen a double oven built in. It will be lovely to have an oven with other temperatures than just very hot.

Anyway must stop waffling. Think will be saus and mash for us tonight. DS will have beans and eggs on toast early as he has got footie.

    Have a great day.
  • Hey all

CCStar - big hugs honey!!! I hope you manage to sell soon pet. Take is easy

Had a meeting with the HR Director (Catbert) yesterday, seems they'll make me work a week of my notice, but give me the rest as a tax-free cheque

No movement on the job front other than registering for temp work once i'm free.

Lovely weather up here though, blue sky and high clouds! (although admittedly a little nippy)

OH and I are having a day off on Thursday. Gonna batten down the hatches after college on Wednesday and just chill out. My neck is as stiff as a board... Stress I guess!

Hugs to all, esp poorly littlies.

Good luck to Moggins in the job hunt.

Moggins I hope you are still going to train for your life coaching qualification - I know its something you always wanted to do. Which reminds me to nag you - have you sat down and done some exiciting goals for yourself for your new future - I know it may seem hard to do at the moment but it could give you a really strong focus.:o

Kyle - those cards are gorgeous maybe you could sell them and start a little business:j

Just watching Fern and Phillip talk to Louise Rednapp about her size 0 programme - as I shove a couple of chocolate digestives down my neck:rotfl: 700 calories - I can eat that whilst deciding what to have for tea:D

Anyway I have decided whats for tea - my lovely neighbour gave me a piece of gammon yesterday that she had accidently defrosted  so its now in the SC with a bit of orange juice so knowing me by the time the soup is made overnight and the roasty type meal I will have tonight I could end up with about 6 meals for near as free as you get:j I think she is being especially nice to me as she has the builders in for an extension and they get very noisy at times.

I am at a bit of loose end as I am waiting in for the coucil or Bulky Bill as they call it :rotfl: (oooh eeeer I hope he is:D :D:o _)to come and pick up my old suite and a glass cabinet thing - I did try to get rid of it all on freecycle but nobody was interested - shame really as its still got a lot of life in it and I thought somebody might use it for free:confused: mustnt be good enough for the freecycling folks round here:rotfl: I hate waiting in for deliverys or pick ups its so frustrating as you know you cant go anywhere because the minute you do they arrive - its a clear case of s0ds law I reckon:D

Madmum - I hope you have a good time testing your BM its something I have always wanted but living on my own and frankly not wanting to eat too much bread I have avoided it but I love visiting my friends who do have one :D

Right so with one ear primed to the sound of a Bulky Bill coming up the close (over the drilling from next door:rolleyes: ) I suppose I should do something or maybe I will just finish the choccy digestives with Fern and phil - ( I think they will go off today if I dont - the digestives that is not Fern and phil:D )
Edit oh my goodness as I posted fern and phil went off air!! blame me entirely!!)

    Hugs all
