morning all, hugs to those who need them.

would you just allow me a RANT??!!

i stayed up til almost 2am planning this morning, i had an 8.20am assembly and i'm doing some training for a bunch of ministers later too. yesterday was my day off so i broke into that by about 6 hours to do planning etc.

was a bit of a struggle but i set my alarm and got up early, dragged my laptop, projector, speakers, extension leads, and props into the school. when i asked where i was to go it turns out that the woman doing the rota had missed me off, despite phoning me and asking me to do these dates ages ago. I AM SO MAD!!!!! (sorry for shouting, no one here to take my annoyance out on)

and then, to top things off, my friend who is picking me up texted to say she had got out of bed late and was just setting off. now she has phoned to say traffic is bad (no sh*t sherlock, its rush hour), so i have to drive there on my own (30 miles up the motorway). in my tired, stressy state i'm not real pleased about that.....

i'd better go or i will be late, which will really stress me :(

Spring must be on its way as I have hayfever!!!! Of course it could be that I have just been cuddling the cat and then foolishly rubbed my eyes! Just waiting for the anti histamine to work.

Into town today on an errand and will be checking out our market for supplies.

    Have a good day everyone!

    Morning everyone

I have not been on the OS board for a while, been busy sorting a few other issues.

We spent yesterday evening watching our own separate programmes, my partner watched the Mon night soaps and I watched football and poker which I had recorded on DVD.

My partner and I are in the middle of a 60-day long dispute with Tesco    about the disgraceful behaviour of 3 of their staff, 2 of which were managers. We have got nowhere with Tesco Customer Services so we will shortly be contacting the CEO and posting details on the Internet namely the MSE Vent Forum and the Tesco Complaint Blog Site.

Needless to say we have been shopping recently in Asda and Iceland!

Hope everyone has a good day

    Morning everyone!

I think the weather is having an effect on everyone's day - is anyone not having trouble and strife? Hugs all round today.

I've got a positive head on today. Had a bad afternoon yesterday capped with DH's car service costing £600    We had got a load of Tesco deal tokens for Nationwide autocentre but that only covered half of it (what they estimated it would cost) my budget is going to need some major juggling to accommodate for the £300 I did't expect to spend.

About to take DS3 to preschool. Then off shopping as my store cupboard is looking rather sparse.

Had a nice time at baby club. We celebrated baby girl's birthday. I've not been for a few weeks because of the flu etc. Last time there was only 6 of us so I bought 6 cakes for the mums. Yesterday the numbers had grown to 12 so the cakes were all chopped in half. I think the new mums didn't mind as they are all trying to get their figures back:rotfl:

I'll try to catch up with the thread later.....

Haven't posted for awhile, really had nothing vaguely interesting to report:rotfl:

But just wanted to share that last night I slept right through without waking once!! :T I don't really suffer from not sleeping, it's just that i wake several times a night needing to find a cooler patch of pillow? Well I've finally invested in a "chillow", which I've seen advertised many times. Have to say it's brilliant!:D No more flipping pillows over to find a cool spot, it just stays cool, in fact initially it was perhaps a shade too cool!! Okay one swallow doesn't make a summer, but I'm very hopeful that it's more than mere coincidence;)

Other than that life goes on it's normal boring route:o Housework has been a bit neglected last few days, so must jump back on that particular treadmill:rotfl: But i did do over an hour in the gym this morning! (just wished I looked like I had, the weight is not shifting, in fact I suspect it's still going up:eek: )

Well best get off, I have been reading the thread so ((((((((hugs)))))))) to all that need them, you know who you are!

Morning all! My only free of the day today-was meant to have 3 yesterday but was taken for cover for all of them, then I didn't have to cover first lesson...arghhh.

Have been in bed by 9:30 these past few days as my body really isn't liking what I'm doing at the moment.... have been in a lot of pain lately but am trucking on like I do, shovelling the painkillers down and getting on with it! Have lost my break and lunch today too as a few kids really did take the biscuit yesterday... I don't get paid for my lunches and breaks but if I told them to go elsewhere, barely any of them would turn up, so I have to do them... very frustrating I know!

Am incredibly cheesed off at home at the moment, OH is leaving it in a right state and knows that I don't like it that way and tidy it up! I seem to be like his slave! On his days off (2 a week) he sleeps in past midday and sits on his XBox shovelling rubbish down his throat. On my days off (1 a week, if any!!) I end up doing what housework I can manage. I can't and won't go on strike as I don't want my home getting more of a mess than it already is, but am not sure what to do! I barely have time to talk to him as he doesn't surface from his afternoon sleep til 8-9pm and I'll be off to bed by 9:30.

Sorry to rant but I'm so frustrated! I'm not his mother and don't want to be! I work more hours than him, am disabled and should really be working part time instead of 6 or 7 days a week, and I do as much housework as I can manage! Ugh!!!

Sending hugs to those who need/want them!

Got therapy tonight and then am going to try and clean the kitchen as best I can (as am still not feeling 'well' at all), will do a simple dinner of beans on toast or something similar.

Have a good day everyone x

  • Morning all, haven't posted for a while but wanted to send best wishes to Moggins, Penny Pincher, dlb's son etc etc, <hugs> to all.

Beautiful bright sunny morning here at the moment, the wind seems to have dropped thank goodness and it feels fairly warm outside. OH has decided to 'work at home' today  which means that I have to tiptoe around trying to vacuum 'silently', hmm.

Off for a shower now and then must make a start on the cleaning. Will probably go out and meet some friends later because having OH here all day raises my blood pressure to dangerous levels....

    Breakfast: porridge with stewed apple
Lunch: ? probably cheese and crispbreads or a salad
    Dinner: stir fry with pork

Belive me I tried but she's the one insisting things are done to the letter on uniform but when it comes to all the other rules ie:- on bullying you have to fight to get something done talk about double standards
