    Morning

Not posted for a few days been busy finishing painting the bedrooms. They are all done now:T Carpet has been laid, new furniture in spare room from ebay:T and new bedding bought with vouchers from christmas:T
I bought some new curtains which were a nightmare to hang, I have a problem with the pelmet....I have pulled them too tight together and now I can't unpick the knot:mad:
Oh's mum comes to stay next week so hopefully I will be organised by then. Then his sister has asked if she can come to stay a few days after that:rolleyes: they have only just started talking again after about two years and the last time I spoke to her she told me to F*** off so I am not looking forward to her coming but I will have to keep it zipped for Oh's sake, don't know how I am going to do it because she caused me a lot of heartache a few years ago and it added to me having a breakdown, what would you do??
Not sure whats for dinner tonight I will have a look in a mo.
Watched that Borat movie last night, at forst it was funny then I got bored:rolleyes:
    Have a good day everyone

    Morning folks,

I must be one of the few blessed with good weather this morning - sunny and fresh. I expect it'll chuck down later though. Well off to work today, have a very tedious task ahead of me - going through the bins of cable to make sure everything has been tested - we had a hire job come back the other day and they mixed in loads of untested cable with ours

Tonight, I have said I willl do a storecupboard nventory and a little bit of ironing - like 2 things.

My new washing machine is hooooge - my normal load only quarter fills it now  The problem is that because OH has all black clothes, it will take ages before I have enough of my clothes to run a white load - and he's bound to run out of pants and socks before then.
We must all suffer one of two things: the pain of discipline or the pain of regret and disappointment
  • Good morning everyone ! Hugs to those of you that aren't feeling too well.

Penny-Pincher I hope this cleaning company works out for you. BTW what did you use to clear the limescale in the loo ?

catowen - it is indeed the kitchen - mine is in desperate need of doing too.

jockettuk - good luck with ebay, I keep considering selling on there, but with all the horror stories I keep hearing about I just don't know. Then again I guess if I'm not selling expensive electronic stuff there's probably a lot less risk.

scuzz - good luck with the money man.

Not a lot happening here, a few of my sweetpeas are beginning to come through, they are currently sat on the window sill in the kitchen. I'm hoping that a few more will come through this week at the moment it's only 3 out of about 20.

Weather here is horrible, does anyone have any idea when all this rain is going to go away ? Anyone would think it's April already.

Anyway better go and finish getting ready for work.

    Have a great day everyone

Hugs to all the sick ones. Especially sick littllies.

I surprisingly don't have a hangover this morning and I even slept for 5 hours which is more than I've got for days. I've got my doctors appointment this morning and then the appointment with the Lone Parent adviser. It was nice to have people round, it's so unusual for me as DH is normally so rude to visitors, just sitting on the computer and ignoring them, that I don't really bother to have people round any more.

It's lovely to know I have so much support, everyone is being so good to me, I've still not sorted out DS's band practice on a Monday night as I can't exactly leave DD in her bed while I go and pick him up, but that's a minor detail. The big job section comes out in the local paper tomorrow so it's going to be a big day for me then :D

Anyway, I must go and straighten my hair, ooh I'm actually pampering myself again.

Morning everyone! Horrid weather here today too - we put our milk bottles out last night and were woken at about 3am to hear them rolling about the street - hopefully the milkman will still grab them as he sees them!

Nearly finished packing up lounge, Isaac's room and basement, going to be looking at the kitchen today which is quite daunting! Still, we've got leftovers tonight and we're having takeaway tomorrow as we're out with friends (a once a month tradition), and then we'll treat ourselves Thursday - so we can pack most of our crockery & cutlery! It's going to be very exciting seeing our huge kitchen diner slowly losing all it's junk...

Apart from that, dw is on, Yesterday I finally got round to watching the first episode of 'it's not easy being green' which was pretty fun, I thought, and oh and I saw the first episode of 'taking over the asylum' which was one of his favourite programs - shown in 1994 with a young Ken Stott, he's never seen it again since but often talked about it, I managed to find it for him - and we discovered the 'youngster' in it is a 23 year old David Tennant! He's so cute! it was his first tv role, and he's like a little puppy, all cute and fluffy.

My nephew goes up to the Royal Brompton today (and has his op tomorrow) so all my family are a bit tense & short tempered - no change there then, ha ha. OH is going to visit him and take him some Doctor Who audio books of his - OH had ME when he was 16 and pretty much couldn't get out of bed till he was about 19 so he knows how dull & depressing it can be at that age. Also my sister is single, and my mum is single, so my nephew doesn't really see many men, apart from his dad, who is a stuntman, a black belt, lifts weights etc - so I like the fact that my oh can show him it's alright to be a different kind of man - especially as nephew has asbergers syndrome and so gets obsessed with things - doctor who is his current love - but we love it too, so it's nice for him to see that fully fledged adults can still be into 'geeky' things too - his mum and dad both dismiss it along with all his other obsessions as 'kids rubbish', which never seems very fair.

Anyway, I mustn't get into my usual griping about my family rant! Isaac behind me is reading a book and has just said 'love books, read lotsandlots books new house!' to me so I guess he's looking forward to having his bookshelves back!

Hope everyone else is good and happy, hugs to anyone who needs them.

    Good Morning All

mrs-mix (((hugs))) hope you feel better, nothing worse than ear ache. I suffered months with mine! Cant believe the school was fussy about 'socks'. Im not surprised you had a falling out!

hope DS is feeling better soon dlb

Stand your ground pen-pin cant believe the cheek of the company!

ageandjo I would expect support from my OH and refuse her in the house! My sister caused me & OH much hassle ages ago. Ive not spoken to her since Nov 2004! Good luck what ever happens! Perhaps she realises what she'd done, and wants this opportunity to make ammends!

The weather was really awfull last night, it kept blowing my neighbours DD plastic sandpit on their patio. I was half expecting it to fly over the fence! I stood for ages watching the wind blow things, and at the same time, feeling sorry for my cat, as he's out in the wet & cold!

Anyway, best go and showered, get ready for the school run, then work, off to the crem afterwards. Lay some flowers for Nanna. The the post iffice to post a few ebay parcels!

Might even make it to toys-r-us this evening, if DS is in a better mood!

Take care all, have a great day
    Love as usual
