Dunno, but a lot of babies are born in September...
My adopt a reindeer came today which is fab as i only ordered yest! I made a list of who ive to get for xmas for and im shocked at how unorganized and lost for ideas that i am.
I want to do a gardening hamper for my mum, but i know nothing about gardening so no idea what to put in it lol.
Doing a basket full of bounce for my fil's g/f - she is tigger mad so going to put tigger mug, milicano coffee (her fave), a tigger film cell and probably other bits if i can find them.
Other than that im stumped - and feeling panicky!

My 2nd reindeer adoption thingy came today so that's their xmas eve hampers almost sorted. Now need to keep my eyes open for those all-in-one fleece onesies at a decent price.0 -

with regards to the gardening, i did dh one last year and im doing fil one this year.
i also know nothing about gardening but i went to wilkinsons i think it the back end of septemeber and near enough picked one of everything off the shelves
ended up spending about £14 and when i added it all up (cos im sad like that:o) it was over £68 worth of goods :T:T:T
it included everything from hand tools to seeds to twines/nets to everything else i have no idea is!
added to this i bought some potato sacks and double pack of strawberry and tomato topplers from argos a couple of weeks after the wilkos sale for £1.99
my plan is to stick with what i know and do it again this year!Mummy to ds 29/12/06 dd 10/2/08 ds 25/5/11:Amy angel born too soon 18/11/12, always with me Emmie Faith:A15 projects in 2015 10/15completed0 -
Our baby is also due in September. I've bought the excellent book The Night Before Xmas from amazon USA (out of print edition - widely known to have the best and most authentic drawings from any published edition)
Anyway, I plan to start a tradtion of reading it to our child to be every Christmas eve. Can't wait to start traditions such as this0 -

We did this when our kids were small_ they are 22 and 16 now and they each have a copy of this marvellous story (as did me and sis when we were little). They come out each christmas and the kids have both said they are cherishing them for thier own children! (not yet I hope- I waaay too young to be a Nan !!!!)lovin' this site!

The only tradition we had when I was growing up was thT the tree etc went up on the 12th as its my sisters birthday although our Xmas was still always magical without the traditions but when I have my own kids I'd like to have traditions with them! I now do Xmas eve hamper & the raindeer food and Santa key with my little brother he's 3 I do this while my mum and step dad are doing their last minute bits that they have to do0

We have done this since our oldest was born, we now have three boys aged 13, 11 & 7 and they take it in turns to read, each one wanting to get the last page. I don't get a look in anymore, just sit and listen (just as well as eyes are usually too full of tears!).
We must have about 10 copies of 'The Night Before Christmas' as I collected them before the children even, but we always read from the children's edition that my mother gave to DS1 on his first Christmas.* Ebay- 1 Bag a Day *0
