Just a quick dash in whilst enjoying a break from cleaning. I noticed that on Sunday on Ch5 at 2.30 is a Christmas film called Noel The review isn't brilliant, but it might be worth a watch. Think I might record it, as it'll clash with the F1, and I absolutely HAVE to watch that.. COME ON ALONSO! *ahem*
second that!I cant bear Vettel, and although Im a Lewis fan he cant win it (thanks a lot for mistakes and unreliability mclaren!)
Id like to see Alonso win, also my DS is a big Alonso fan and I cant stand the idea of him crying if he loses!:D0 -

Aww bless him. I'm a Mclaren supporter at heart, and will miss Lewis when he leaves them. Do hope he's not jumped out of the frying pan and into the fire though! He's had an abysmal year though, and mostly not of his doing, so can't blame him for upping sticks and leaving for new adventures. Shall just have to [STRIKE]lust[/STRIKE] root for Jenson again, and Perez. Sorry, thread hijack there..
Just to turn it back into Christmas chat... Am I too late to pop on the sprouts? :rotfl:0 -

I tend to watch this film every year - its a similar idea to its a wonderful life, everyone is miserable for most of the film, just to warn youHobnobs are like marines0 -
Not posted for ages but read daily, so excited we are off to see Nativity 2 later as the weather is so vile and all the Christmas parade etc has been cancelled.
I have though finished all my shopping for the kids, hubby was away for a few nights last week I couldn't sleep so wrapped them all at 2 in the morning lol.
Would usually start to decorate next week, but as we have had water damage from a leaky roof and chimney that has finally after 6 months been traced and repaired we now have to re plaster lounge wall and need a new ceiling and plaster in our bedroom. So will try to get lounge sorted before Christmas but bedroom can wait till after can,t be doing with having all the stuff down from there at the moment.
Love reading what you are all up to and seeing the pictures of crafty bits.
Really looking forward to Christmas this year as hubby has a new job, so for the first time in 17 years he has from the 23 rd to the 27 th off, followed by New Year's Eve and day ! Usually he used to come in at 8 pm on Christmas Eve and would then have to leave at 4:30 am Boxing Day morning as his store would open at 6 and he had to drive an hour and 15 minutes to get there. :rudolf:
Have planned some great stuff including Santa express (kids don't know, will put a sleigh bell ala polar express in their advent calendar with clues to the train station as its walking distance away) Local panto rather than big one, making gingerbread houses, visiting friends with hubby, which I usually have to do on my own with kids. :xmastree:

I cant wait any longer so once kids are in bed im going to start putting some snowman soups together, just the ones that are going to be given out early december though as i dont want rock-hard marshmallows lol.
