welcome cheesedemon! I do that too - every time Im done I see something else, its so hard not to! trying to be good, but now when I do it I take one present out and replace it with the new goodie Ive bought, then put it in a box for next year, only works if its something like a cute hat or scarf tho!
so far I have scarf, hats x 2, a book, some gorgeous ceramic coasters with cupcakes on and some sparkly eyelash curlers in 2013 box, all removed from this years gift stash cos Ive replaced them with bargains too good to resist!0 -

I just read the Carole Matthews new Christmas book, Love at Christmas I think? which is lovely - she starts off stocking up early and reminded me of us! singing along to Slade in tesco while other people are Grinching!

Just caught up on the last few days....my heartfelt sympathy to those who have suffered loss. Love to you and your families x
Good luck to those preparing for craft fairs, especially first-timersI'm a bit bit envious as I would've loved to have done one this year but don't really have the time to get crafting in a big way. The emphasis for us this year is having a major de-clutter to get the house Christmas-ready (as ready as we always mean to be but never actually achieve!), so we're sorting through mountains of stuff in the loft - some for the charity shop and some to sell at an indoor boot sale.
The sale is at a local school and I was thinking of making some candy cane reindeer to sell too. (I'll put them with any nice new gifty type items I'm selling so they won't be with any old junk!) It's not a craft fair but I guess they might still sell? How much do you think people would pay for them at a (fairly posh) indoor boot sale? 50p? 60p?0 -

My DS has been laughing at me because I tested my jelly tot vodka then promptly fell over the hoover but you'll be glad to know, I never spilt a drop! Thinking need to make another batch though
Haha! Nice reflexes!
Sounds yum. Does it taste quite sweet and fruity? Were you able to drink it neat? The flavoured vodkas I've got on the go absolutely blow my head off and make my eyes water! Not sure if it's the sweets I've used or the cheapo vodka but I was expecting the sweets to take the edge off a bit. I think I'm probably just a bit of a wimp0 -

I'm up to £43 on YouGov...............the last £7 seem to be taking forever!!!
Thought I'd ask you crafty people (will also post on the elf thread).
After your elves have been up to mischief with the toilet roll do you make a craft out of the paper or bin it? I'd love to utalise it but can't think of anything exciting. can I use it like paper mache to cover a balloon??loves how my "I've been censored" signature has been censored. LOL. Happy Christmas. :xmastree:0
