Melt about 2 /3rds of it, then stir in the rest. It should melt in the heat.
    Then reset it.

I treated myself to Elf DVD today. Is that wrong? Wanted the nativity but couldn't find it locally and couldn't wait for amazon!

No it's not wrong...I bought a few DVDs online last night from Amazon. Got Elf, Home Alone 1&2 and the boxed set of the Santa Claus movies. Watch the prices though cos the boxed set of the Santa Claus film was 8 quid yesterday and today I noticed its gone up to 17 quid! Can't wait to get them, I could have bought loads, haven't seen the Nativity one.

Do you think it's ok to watch this if I haven't seen Nativity? I'd really like to see Nativity but I probably won't get the chance before the second one goes out of the cinema.

It's fine :) They do mention Mr Madden's (the old teacher) but just in passing and that (other than the head/teaching assistant and some of the kids) is the only thing that is the same :)

Huge hugs to you Carla - and your OH and everyone else who needs them. I'm so very very sorry to hear about your daughter :(

im not wanting to bring this thread down, but i feel i know you all (is that sad?) and i wanted to let you all know the reason for my absence and also to avoid any questions.

as many of you know i was due to have baby number 4 in march. unfortunatley our daughter was born on sunday and being 19weeks early she didnt make it.

my hubby mark and i are pretty cut up as you can imagine and trying our hardest to keep spirits high for the other 3.

i have no chance of catching up the thread now as ive been away too long so i imagine i will fleetingly pass through so im sorry if i ever miss anything important thats said.

once again, im sorry to bring the thread down.

I am so sorry to hear of your loss xx

  • I am hoping someone on here has better detective skills than me.

My little one has a wee book which belonged to my niece so is about 13 years old. It was a set of 4, My Car, My Train, My Bus and My Tractor. He adores the car one and knows what item is on each page.

Well it ended up in the washing machine and totally dissolved apart from the foam cover.

I have searched online but all I know is that the text was by Gill Davies.

    Can anyone help me out...xx

Carlamarie and Mark I am so very sorry to read your devastating news. You have no need what so ever to apologise. You are indeed one of us as Linky so beautifully put it and we are always here if you need to chat. I really don't know where I'd be without my cyber family on this thread. Such lovely people :)

Linky your list looks fab :) you are going to be a busy girl!

Princesskitty I bought Elf last year for my DGDs Christmas Eve hamper but it's in Australia so today when I felt like I needed cheering up I thought why not! Felt a bit bad tho just splashing out on myself:(
Yesterday I bought DGD2 Christmas in Mancheter my DD couldn't believe it she says its the best Christmas book ever. She shares my love of my home town:)

Wow hope that is the right book. That is some detective work Dropsofjupiter :)
