  • Can somebody please help me.....we have an Amazon account and there is a game coming up on the black Friday deals that my oh wants for Xmas.....do I just stay on the black Friday deals page, wait until the time the game is put in the deals and then just click buy? Or can I put it in the basket now but not checkout and they will give me the cheaper price?

Feistyfidget The only thing I can think of is you give them grinded oats and almonds in a pot/jar, with instructions for making the mask.
Add milk to form paste for dry skin. Add witch hazel to form paste for oily skin.
Leave on for 20 mins then rinse.

I have just found these printable Disney boxes and am in love.:D

Can you be in love with a box template ? :o

I am not that worried as I expect you will all fall in love with them as well :rotfl:

You have to click 'buy' when the deal comes up. If you put it into your basket first [from the main item page] you will not get the deal price. :)

Thank you. I have never shopped on black Friday before and I didn't want to miss it as it came up the other day and I missed it. Really want to get it at a reduced price as £38 for a game is a little steep for us, especially since there is another one he wants that is full price but am planning to use voucher from surveys to get some money off that one.

First time poster on here, but I've been reading avidly this last week.

You all have some fantastic idea, and tips. Thank you all so much for sharing them. I've loved reading it all.

Can I also just take a moment to pass on all my warmest wishes to those going through a tough time at the moment. Be it health issues with yourself or loved one's or money/work worries; you're all very much in my thoughts. We've had a tough year ourselves, and I know how hard it can be to pick yourself up when all around you seems to be crumbling. Hang in there. (hugs)

We've had to reduce our expenditure for Christmas, and whilst I was initially dreading Christmas, I am now so festived up it's bonkers! I've been making gifts and have others that I need to make a start on, or I'll never be finished, lol. I've made some little tea light holders for my sister and her hub, out of square jam jars. I've added strips of lace, and some beads, and wound the rims with string for her to hang them in the garden. They've come out really well, so I'm chuffed with them. I'm also making some Christmas decorated cupcakes for her and the inlaws nearer the time.

I've sorted out all of my Christmas films and music this morning, and am now absolutely itching to get the decs out and the tree up...

Thanks again for such a wonderful, and inspiring thread. Have a great day all, despite all the rain! (I might turn my home into an ark at this rate!) :rotfl:
  • Hi though it worked in Cart for me. I have experienced it many times, I bought my Kitchen aid mixer from Amazon, rather I buy many things regularly.
I checked out 20quid cheaper as opposed to the day I put it in cart.

Quick question - probably a silly one but anyway - Truffles, is there a reason we dont use milk chocolate (does it not set as well or something?) Im looking to make these as a gift for parents hamper but mum isnt so keen on dark chocolate so if I can get away with using milk it would be better, if not she has no choice but to enjoy it anyway lol
Life is what you make it.
