PRINCESSX87 wrote: »Anyways. Whist im watching Christmas movies, With a hot drink & MSE-ing, I'm writing my crimbo card list ready for writing tonight! Has anyone in their local area's noticed that their local post office is running short of stamps. Been to 2 places so far and neither of them had any 12 book of stamps?? Plus, I'm worrying & pulling my hair out as ive ordered a fair amount from amazon, And currently none of its arrived! It was due Fri gone and still haven't heard a thing...Starting to think i may well have been scammed....Will wait for a few extra days to see what the results going to be!
I work at S*perdrug and we always have them in the tills [never had a shift where we have run out].And, we have 5% off them until Christmas eve, so it might be worth checking out your local branch.
I've not really done anything Christmas based lately. I tried Lidl for the Christmas pasta but they didn't have any, sadly. I've wrapped a couple more presents, as I am heading to the Birmingham Christmas Markets next weekend with a friend [I'm heading down, she is heading up, so we are swapping presents there]. I'm planning on leaving the rest of my wrapping until the first week of December, as after that my hours go up at work.I haven't bought an advent calendar yet - any suggestions on which to pick [noting that I am absolutely broke, no word of lie - depressing

To all the knitters, I was going though all my saved links and found these. I can't even remember saving them. Must have been late at night.

Just ordered my mums card from Tesco Cards using the 50% off code XMASOFFER (thanks to OP on grabbit) You can get a card from as little as 29p but I ended up getting a bigger one and paying £1.49 which didnt really save me any money :rotfl:but it is lovely. Spent ages thinking of a nice poem to write in it, I adore my mum so I do tend to get a bit soppy.'They only had one cow!'0 -
Just wanted to let you all know that I had a pm from will-be-debt-free this evening, and her dd is quite poorly and in hospital.
They all had a bug last week and her dd has not coped well with it.
I have sent her all our love and best wishes, in hoping her dd makes a full and speedy recovery.x0 -

This thread is moving so fast! Loving all the Christmas cheer
So sorry to those having a rough time of it at the moment, keep your chin up and I hope things start to improve quickly.
Well our personalised photo Christmas cards arrived from Vista print yesterday - I know a lot of people complain about them, but I managed to get a photo calendar, 10 photo christmas cards, 1 address stamp, 250 business cards and a magnetic door business sign or £5.99 incl delivery! Plus the economy delivery is supposed to be 2 weeks but it arrived in just 1! I am logging on again to place a similar order as I think the calendars will make excellent Christmas presents[/COLOR]2024 Challenges
