PS. It's got 4 extra songs.

Just ordered 2 Mickey puzzle baubles from Disney Store for £3.80 delivered! (one for a child from www.postpals.co.uk) and also a horse necklace for another child from Postpals. Still need to get them some other bits! Feel really bad as I completely forgot the shoebox deadline was Sunday so cant send them now grr! I donated to a refuge last time (although that was down to not having the money to donate postage for them!) but I think Ill keep the items this time so I have a headstart on next year and may even be able to do more! x'They only had one cow!'0

Feeling very festive today. Haven't managed to do much as the OH decided his early Christmas gift to me was his germs. So feeling rather rough today.
Managed to get the first trail batch of truffles done. I always do these as a trail - each time, Adding something "special" to the mix. So far, I've done plain white & plain dark choc. The baileys ones got eaten yesterday and i never even got a look in, As OH decided he was going to test them whilst i was in the bath.
Anyways. Whist im watching Christmas movies, With a hot drink & MSE-ing, I'm writing my crimbo card list ready for writing tonight! Has anyone in their local area's noticed that their local post office is running short of stamps. Been to 2 places so far and neither of them had any 12 book of stamps?? Plus, I'm worrying & pulling my hair out as ive ordered a fair amount from amazon, And currently none of its arrived! It was due Fri gone and still haven't heard a thing...Starting to think i may well have been scammed....Will wait for a few extra days to see what the results going to be!
This weekend, We've decided that its time to get the decs & tree down ready for the 1st, Giving it team to "air" As the dust in the attic is horrid! :O We're also going to look out for some festive online bargains...
Hope everyone's having a decent day - Try and stay safe in this gloomy dark, wet weather! xFuture goals:
Become debt free.
Beat Depression.
Be happy & healthy0 -
cornishorchid-So sorry to hear about your friends brother, how awful.

PS. It's got 4 extra songs.I listened to him on Heart radio yesterday, he was really sweet and called a lady who was rather happy about that! I went straight onto Amazon and ordered his christmas album so good marketing Mr Buble.
(too tight to get the deluxe one though. :rotfl:)

Hi everyone!
I have finally got all the bits to make up my pots of Christmas, but I am HOPELESS with thinking up a rhyme/poem to write on the tag. This is all I've come up with, but I'm not totally happy with it...
"I made this pot of Christmas cheer especially for you
Enjoy the chocs and I wish you luck for a festive win this year"
If anyone can think of something else, I'd be very grateful. It's just not my area of expertise!
Here's a pic of some of them-I'm making 10 or 12, but not all have the cross stitch hangers to go inside.
They all contain chocolate coins, choc snowmen, choc money note and either a mini twix, gold bar or Ferrero rocher and a Christmas scratchcard. Some contain a Christmas magnet too.Cross Stitch Cafe Monthly Challenge Member #27

cornishorchid - sorry to hear you have had such a bad time lately, its so sad to lose a pet, and sorry for the loss of your friends brother.
Nanamia - sending healing prayers/thoughts for your sister in law.
Well I have had a very christmassy morning. Went to Hobbycraft for a wander ended up getting some more of the 4 reel of Merry Christmas ribbon as it was only £1. Some more Christmas confetti(I am hooked on foil confetti)
Also went to B&M and picked up the gravy boat and some bowls to go with my Christmas plates from there.
Last stop Lidl for cellophane and also picked up a set with a tablecloth, runner and napkins for £5.95 . They are made of some kind of thick paper(must be paper as I just tried really hard to rip it and managed in the end) They do them in red/gold, green/gold or cream/gold.
Also for those that may have missed Polar express on tv, B&M have the dvd for either £2.99 or £3.99
Last but not least mentioned to my sister about my new longing for a sewing machine, she went upstairs and came down with one in a box that she had bought years ago thinking she would use and never had and gave me that. :j AND......OH is going in loft today to get decorations down(only so I can get table centre pieces out to have a look at, not putting decs up yet)
Sorry this is so long just had to get it all out while I remembered.13 projects in 2013 0/130 -
What have you all done to me :rotfl::rotfl:
I have spent the last 2 hours buying an elf, listing all the things we can do, typing up an announcement letter and looking for passport (the one on organisedchristmas is great but expiry date is 2011)
I'm looking forward to trying something new, I just hope hubby will remember to continue it over the weekend I'm working away in December
Have just popped home for 5 mins from work. Will have another look when I get back properly this evening.
