I feel a bit bad now....sent him a text saying its getting wrapped for Christmas, so he sent one back saying "whaaat?
"
So I ended up sending a long message back saying how I had actually already bought it and how he did this last year, so next year he can just not bother with a list and can just be happy with the million Lynx sets he will no doubt get instead
Didn't mean to be so mean but I just had to tell him how inconvenient he was making things. Again!13 projects in 2013 0/130 -
X-ray update. Am having it done on Monday at 2.30 . They have a clinic today, that takes priority over walk ins.
By 2.10 there was an hour wait, which could get longer. It's painful, but not that painful.:D0 -

So I said well you can't buy it as its on your Christmas list and people have seen your Christmas list and could be buying you it. So he answered "well if I buy it now then it can come off list"
BLOODY SMARTPHONES!!!!! :mad: he was on dinner break and browsing the deals.
Since I have already ordered it as a gift would it be cruel to say I am wrapping it for Christmas so he can't have it until then?
I get put on a shopping ban a few months before Christmas because years ago I ended up buying something myself and hubby had already bought it for me for Christmas. Having an Amazon wish list has helped. Noticed the Red Dwarf X DVD has disappeared from it...:T
Last week was hubby's birthday and I'd bought him the Hustle box set. A few days before he spotted online for £30 and mentioned it. Managed to put him off ordering it (and I only paid £21).Own_My_Own wrote: »X-ray update. Am having it done on Monday at 2.30 . They have a clinic today, that takes priority over walk ins.

Ow! Hope it gets sorted out soon.
Must make truffles this year. Think I'll roll them in coconut to look like snowballs. Yum!

I'm going to make my own centre piece for my Christmas Day table using a mirror fish bowl I had at my wedding.

maybe some shiny baubles and jingle bells, with a string of those pretty little battery led lights?0 -

I hate to admit that I am usually the one that is a pain in our house when it comes to presents
I like surprises and so when people ask me straight out I have a habit of saying I don't mind, in the hope that I will get a nice surprise
I have spent the afternoon trying to make this;
Sadly I gave upI have lots of fimo and thought this would be a perfect use (and a friend that loves reading) but for once sculpting alluded me
