I'm not very good at explaining but go through a photo sharing site like photobucket or FB. I use photobucket but it amazes me how the pictures ever appear. I'll pop back in a bit see if you've managed it.
I mistakenly thought that you could actually upload photos, but that isn't the case, so I put it on a website that I use and posted a link instead (on the homemade cake thread 2 forum I think it was). A terrible effort on my part, I'm afraid, but hopefully it will taste ok

Thanks, but it really isn't very good. Well done on the magic oven - I always wanted one of those myself! My cousin had one and a 'working' washer which I loved to play with. Ooh, happy times :j
I've bought all sorts of things but not yet allocated everything to people on my list. Job for today I think so that I can see how far I still have to go. I have 35 people on my list to buy for including a new neice or nephew due a few days before Christmas :T, but no parents any more as they've all passed on. Had to adjust to a very different Christmas day / dinner etc without them all over the last 2 years.0 -

Gosh, I'm glad I don't have to deliver anything this early!! Well done on the bath bombs. I always find that the pressies which were such a bargain feel like the best ones to give. I don't know if you had the earrings from John Greed, but they keep having sales, but you have to order immediately as if you browse then go back an hour later to order, all the best bits have gone.0 -
bought my dd some bath fizzers in superdrug - reduced to 49p for 10 . DS2 has annouced he hates christmas & would rather not be involved all - pity he already has a present. On the moneysaving front christmas will be cheaper this year as I have just been diagnosed as a dibetic so the chrisps, biscuits sweets etc tha we normally buy will have to be seriously reduced.proud gran to 4 lovely boys and one little girl0

Thanks PrincessKitty. I wish that I'd saved pics of better ones. Perhaps we can all share pics of our home made Christmas cakes later in the year. Will be starting mine in September so that I can keep feeding it with brandy. I usually make 3 large ones, then quarter 2 of them to make 8 cakes to decorate as presents for close family and friends who might appreciate a 6" cake.0 -

Great bargain from Superdrug. I hardly ever get in there as it's a bit of a drive to the shops - perhaps I should make an effort.
I always catered or my diabetic dad at Christmas, so don't be downhearted, as as long as you are sensible, you'l still have a great Christmas. You'll probably come out the other side of Christmas feeling a lot healthier than the people who gorge themselves silly every day of the festivities.
A few ideas on the following:

*sneaks back in*
hello!
Sorry I have been a bit AWOL though have no fear my Christmas prep is almost finished :-O
I have to get mine and my husbands christmas presents, biscuits and a box of tea for my mums hamper and wrapping paper lol that is all.
I have managed quite a few christmas gifts in the sales from hawkins bazaar, past times, dot com gift shop etc this past 2/3 weeks!
We have even decided we are going to eat our 3 course christmas dinner out on christmas eve to save money and then have buffet food on christmas day.
I have the form ready and filled in to be handed in and deposit paid for our meal nearer the time.
hubby and i are a bit tricky, we both need new trainers which involves leaving the house shopping lol but we are going to be painting the nursery and setting that up this weekend so that will have to wait for a few weeks.
I have plans to get bits and bobs in my fortnightly food shop such as pickles and things for the actual christmas "week" spread the cost, less to do nearer the time.
anyone know of anywhere i can buy cheap christmas wrapping paper erm before November?
I am also almost set for the baby too with 3 months to go.
We want to get everything done as it's been quite hard work, even in the 2nd trimester ive not been able to do much (almost like being sofa bound) this heat is killing me. So we just figured get everything prepared early and then i can just rest and there is no last minute pressure on hubby.
last night on super scrimpers they did ladybird biscuits, does anyone have any christmas themed suggestions using the same technique? (digestive biscuit decorated). I have no energy to bake but like to put a few biccies in cello bags for the kiddies also for halloween if anyone has any idea for that also.
hope everyone is well xEverything is always better after a cup of tea0
