icemice thats one of the reasons im glad i have a girl, i get to relive my childhood (hairdressing, barbies etc) and i can buy her all the clothes that i cant get away with!
i dont think your mad pips mum, we found out with our first 2 but decided to keep number 3 a secret, i loved it! the suspense was a bit like the feeling you get on xmas eve.

hello!
Sorry I have been a bit AWOL though have no fear my Christmas prep is almost finished :-O
I have to get mine and my husbands christmas presents, biscuits and a box of tea for my mums hamper and wrapping paper lol that is all.
I have managed quite a few christmas gifts in the sales from hawkins bazaar, past times, dot com gift shop etc this past 2/3 weeks!
We have even decided we are going to eat our 3 course christmas dinner out on christmas eve to save money and then have buffet food on christmas day.
I have the form ready and filled in to be handed in and deposit paid for our meal nearer the time.
hubby and i are a bit tricky, we both need new trainers which involves leaving the house shopping lol but we are going to be painting the nursery and setting that up this weekend so that will have to wait for a few weeks.
I have plans to get bits and bobs in my fortnightly food shop such as pickles and things for the actual christmas "week" spread the cost, less to do nearer the time.
anyone know of anywhere i can buy cheap christmas wrapping paper erm before November?
I am also almost set for the baby too with 3 months to go.
We want to get everything done as it's been quite hard work, even in the 2nd trimester ive not been able to do much (almost like being sofa bound) this heat is killing me. So we just figured get everything prepared early and then i can just rest and there is no last minute pressure on hubby.
last night on super scrimpers they did ladybird biscuits, does anyone have any christmas themed suggestions using the same technique? (digestive biscuit decorated). I have no energy to bake but like to put a few biccies in cello bags for the kiddies also for halloween if anyone has any idea for that also.
hope everyone is well x
