am so glad you all got them, was going to post the link for Heva04, so thanks PipsMum! :)

thank you for the tip about camelcamelcamel, it was them that emailed me  am so pleased, my neighbours grandson is nearly 7, so think he will really be excited to think hes adopting reindeers, thought about getting one for couple of other littlies I get for, but think they would be too little to understand it, its such a super gift for such a low price, and free delivery as well! apparantly it comes in a tin so usually Amazon would send that via courier I think? though there is a free Amazon Prime trial at the moment for a month, its a really good service, usually next day delivery. (at checkout it offers it I think)

Im pretty sure I saw on this thread that somebody recieved theirs and said the valid to date is some time in 2014? will try and find the post later

I think so chirpy as it says:

"Includes easy-to-follow instructions - simply register online or by post to receive a personalised supporter certificate and a reindeer photograph.
Once registered, a personalised supporter certificate and a reindeer photograph will be dispatched to you within 28 days. Everything you needed to adopt is included in the gift tin"

So presumambly you dont have to register it until the person has it IYSWIM?

am so envious of you with your wrigglers!! mine used to push against my hand (and hubbies), which was forever stuck to my bump! not that I should be envious of course, Im blessed to have 2 amazing kids, I just adore babies ... and toddlers ... and cute little pre schoolers ..and ..

tho teens and almost-teens are lovely and you can have loads of fun with them and a lot of laughs - when we were watching the Olympic Opening Ceremnony last night, I was finding the Industrial Revolution a bit drab and depressing ... til the chimneys rose up and my 12 yo said 'that'll cheer you up Mum, Father Christmas is coming!'

but babies are just so adorable!!

thinking ahead, I may give the gift early to the childs mum, along with a gift tag and card, so she can register him before Christmas and have the cert in the tin before its wrapped

Thorntons do Reindeer chocolate lollies at Christmas, also hollow chocolate reindeers. Lindt do all different size ones as well and they are usually on offer in supermarkets
