You are all doing really well wish I was that organised well Im Back to work next week hopefully so can start agin at the end of August as my oh birthday is 23 aug and we were out yesterday for our 5 year Ann so moneys a little short especially with my oh not working at the moment as he mum has gone in to have an op on her lung so he's at the hosp alot as she went in last week and they punctured her lung and she is having an op tomorrow now it's healed to remove the cancer! Hopefully it's going to work too :) I've got myself a new Xmas notebook I found in my pressie stash I bought it for my sister stocking last year and must have forgot to put it in so I'm now using it as my Xmas notebook as my other one seems to have gone missing! I got my studio Xmas cat this morning too it's not the same I lost intrest after looking through all the home stuff so will have to look through it properly tomorrow :)

Hope your mum is on the mend :)

On a 'not' christmassy note....... Mr T have glasses (spectacles) lenses + frames for £15! They look lovely too. I so need a new pair, might have to treat myself :T (Along with the Christmas DVD's and books that all you lovelies keep recommending!:p)

I need to go to the market for some dark brown wool for my currant bun project and some of the stuffing stuff, not sure what its called. We used to use cut up pairs of tights at school!

What time of year could I plant miniature daffodils for an xmas pressie? I'm guessing its too early during the summer? In our hospital shop they have planters that are huge tea cups and saucers, I thought they would be good for my mum and MIL. Any green fingered experts?

Phew what a scorcher today :T if it would just stay like this until the end of Oct! Then lots of lovely powdery white snow for the whole of December please!

Wow...Thanks to everyone for the heads up on all the bargains!

I've been seriously busy at work so have had very little time to shop but finally got a much needed day off last week.... so went shopping plus sorted out what I already had.

Dad - Best of British/ All American hamper - complete!! I still can't believe it as I thought the American stuff would be really hard to come by

Sister - candle hamper :complete (though it's sooooo hard not to keep adding to it!!)

Done quite well on the Hot, Hot, Hot hamper for BiL finding chilli ketchup 79p, chilli nuts 89p, an apron (Wilko's 99p) and a grow your own chillis kit for just 10p (reduced in Asda). Just need a box of rennies/ tums and some chilli chocolate (which nowhere seems to have at the moment)

Son-in-Law - Golf hamper: Managed to get drinks coaster 99p from Card Warehouse and then (bless Aldi) bought a dvd (a comedy about golf:eek:) £2.99, golf socks £2.49 and a book about world golf courses £1.99 All I need now is an autoputter and a bottle of beer (for the 19th hole!) then another hamper is finished

Daughter -Party Girl Hamper: begining to wish I'd never started with this theme as it seems to be taking ages to find anything! Did grab a pair of those 'fold up' shoes for £2.99 in Home and Bargain last month though.

Son - Movie Hamper: almost done now, just need a couple of xmas dvd's - I've been reading all of your favourites so got plenty of ideas LOL

Daughter-in-Law: Snuggle hamper: found lovely fluffy text print banket down to £4.99 in B&M. Bought a foot spa a coupe of weeks ago so just need PJ's, bottle of wine and a box of chocs

Friends children - started on a baking hamper for both. ASDA had 2 for 1 on sprinkles/ toppings so added them in with the normal food shopping. Already bought jellies/ angel delight .Need bowls, whisk and a couple of cake mixes.

Phew....still got to order some cellophane...I keep forgetting to do this!!
What about some ready made cocktails for your daughters party girl hamper? They come ready mixed in cans for £1 each and you can get them in Asda and B&M bargains. :) Also for your friends childrens baking hampers Asda have lovely kids cake mixes. x
Congratulations to Alja on your new job. :T
Pixie I hope mediation goes well. xxx

I got my DotCom order delivered today - to my work, they think I'm mental buying Christmas presents already!

The things are nice but I'm not sure I'd have paid full price for anything, think it seems over priced. Hence obviously the massive sale!

Just popped into Tesco - they are selling Robertson's Classic Mincemeat for 30p a jar, so if you buy rather than make your mincemeat, grab it now. The date is May 2015, so no worries about making mincepies in summer to use it up.....though maybe that's not such a bad thing!:snow_laug

Shame we can't post photos on here. I'm in the middle of making a huge Olympic birthday cake for a friend to take to London on Friday as she's going to the opening ceremony. Still a long way to go as I haven't started cutting icing yet for the furled union jack or the olympic rings. And to think that I've booked leave to do this! :rotfl:

It's like Xmas with all the parcels coming here at the mo lol, nearly completed my Xmas DVD list most of them have been 99p plus post on eBay, a few brand new from amazon for £3 or less and managed to order Santa paws and disneys Xmas carol using my Disney reward points and preordered Arthur Xmas off amazon and will pay for that with a voucher from surveys.
Reserved a few fab priced toys in the Argos sale for hubbies family's side and have done a few more body shop orders to take advantage of the 30% off and free body butter so that's all teachers and assistants presses sorted
Waiting to get some presents until oct/nov as I work for a well known high street store/chemist and they do 3 for 2 on toys and add in a double staff discount day means fab bargains!

I'm not very good at explaining but go through a photo sharing site like photobucket or FB. I use photobucket but it amazes me how the pictures ever appear. I'll pop back in a bit see if you've managed it.
