SPOILER ALERT ! Do not read if you have not seen the film !!!!!!!!!
Oh I remember it now. Of course it had a good ending, it is a Christmas film. He sees the error of his ways, he gives his secretary Christmas off and everyone in the factory gets a bonus.
Santa then returns and says he can go back to normal as he has the Christmas spirit. BUT he asks to be Santa for a little longer.
He then goes the daughter, of the single mother who works in his factory, and gives her the really big doll out of the window of his shop.:D
I do hope I have the right film.:o0 -

OMO can I ask how much that sleigh was, it is absolutely divine.
It was £12.99 in TK Maxx.
I picked it up, then put it down and walked away 3 times before I bought it.
But I decided I would regret not getting it.
Everybody in the queue loved it, and was telling everyone else what they would put in it if they had bought it. :rotfl:
I was quite lucky that nobody else saw it why I was deciding.0 -
Just got to the end of this thread after reading the last 40 pages! Couldn't have read the other 400 otherwise I'd be here till next Christmas! Haha!
I also LOVE Christmas! 27, no kids and live with parents who still make it special! Dad still tells me Santas been when he goes down to make a brew on Christmas morning!!
Only Christmas tradition we have is out Christmas stockings which my mum makes (with names on) the most random things go in there but there is trouble if no chocolate orange!!!
Going to try and make a gingerbread house with my bf this year. Start our own tradition :-)
Been buying throughout the year to help spread the cost with only main present for bf, brother and best mate to sort out.
Really want to wrap my presents but then I love looking forward to that so maybe I'll leave it a little longer!Tink0 -

Hello and Welcome linziwigan
If you live near Clacton, you can come and wrap mine. I absolutely detest wrapping presents. Because they all have to look perfect it takes me ages.
Last year I put everything in gift bags. Nobody complained, except dd, who walked into the lounge on Christmas morning and said
' Nice to see you put so much effort into the wrapping this year':o
Am going to wrap things this year. Just can't bring myself to start.:(0 -

I love wrapping pressies , it does take ages though as i have to do the ribbons and bows etc................it all works out a lot easier with a cocktail or two........you could practice some recipes out !!
I have opened one box of baubles , 54 i think was the count ! i think i might wrap some up and give as a little extra gift to friends as this is rediculous......i have another 3 boxes to look at , half of which haven't actually seen a tree , and some i have bought in boxes so there are 6 of each which i dont need or want really as i have decided that i quite fancy a tree with all different/individual/special ones rather than multiples of anything in particular. I have baubles i had as a child which i love and a really naff red reindeer, but i like it as it has memories.
This thread is making me really xmassy now,if i had thr room i would have a real tree as i love the smell of them. You all have some lovely ideas on here..wish i had time to do more of them,i may have to get some ninja-gingerbread they are brilliant.
Has anyone noticed any cheap frankincense oil on their travels ?........it's usually about £10 for a small bottle.
And how early are people putting their trees up?? For all i said i wasnt going to shop for anything yet i got another set of lights today.........a girl can never have too many fairy lights.Yep...still at it, working out how to retire early.:D....... Going to have to rethink that scenario as have been screwed over by the company. A work in progress.0 -
I'm having an artificial tree this year for the first time, and I'm going to really miss the smell.
Does anyone know of any sprays/candles/oils that ACTUALLY smell exactly like a real pine tree? (ie, not like pine scented toilet cleaner.):rudolf: :rudolf: :rudolf: :rudolf: :rudolf:0 -
Hi
I haven't caught up yet so don't know if its been mentioned or not but before going to sleep I wanted to tell you on hotukdeals there is a code for 6 issues of auto express for £1 plus free t cut and glass cleaner.
My hubby loves this mag and never buys it so I've signed up and will collect the 6 issues and free gift and I'm going to make it a little hamper.
I will cancel it as we can't afford the subscription but its ideal for a treat.
Thought others might be interested too.Everything is always better after a cup of tea0 -
I also got some pudding bin bags and some santa bin bags ((pic) can't remember the santa ones being mention before)) Don't know if it has been said before, but they would be great for wrapping those big awkward
Hi sorry if I have missed it but where did you get the bin bags from, you're right about akward pressies, I have a couple of doozies to wrap and they look ideal!
Thanks:D

My dad still does this, i'm 30 now and he still always asks 'Has he beed?'. And yes he says 'beed' as opposed to 'been'! I don't know why but he always has done!0 -
Sorry I can't remember who it was but someone was asking about getting prints on to canvas? There's currently a deal on the Grabbit board where the person got it free and only had to pay £5.99 p&p:

It ends today though. Not sure if it's quite what you're looking for but thought i'd re-post just in case.0
