Of course it does. This isn't a craft thread, it's a Christmas Chatter thread.
Making things is just what we are chatting about at the moment. We do go pages without it.
I feel slightly to blame as I have just started a mini business making small gifts, and show what I have made each day on here.

You really do not have to make anything to be on here, you just need to be -

    a Christmas Mad
    b Just Mad
    c Fruity Loopy
    d Daft as a Brush

    :snow_laug:snow_laug:snow_laug:snow_laug:snow_laug

    a Christmas Mad check :rotfl:
    b Just Mad check :rotfl:
    c Fruity Loopy check :rotfl:
d Daft as a Brush check :rotfl:
  • Yayyy we started singing the christmas songs with the little ones in school today for our little christmas play. Theyve changed it up abit this year and we are doing our play with the nursery children rather than the rest of the infants. I love it though they are all so cute and im getting them all abit to hyped up that father christmas will be here in a few weeks!!
Also been given permisson to put the class christmas tree up on the first Monday of December. All the staff down in our reception think Im off my head, but Ive already been given a plan to do of things Id like to make with the kids in the run up to xmas!! Whoop!
Hoping to talk bf in letting us get our tree 1st dec but will probs go the week after. Thats if he isnt working!
And on that subject, I am MAJORLY jealous, he is working at Wembley for the next 4 days on the live Strictly show! He did last year too, but managed to sneak me some tickets for the show so I didnt mind, but there where none available this year, so im at home with a bottle of wine, while hes with all the dancers & celebs! Pffttttt!!!
Anywhos hoping to pop to Lidl on thurs for the cellophane and so more choc.
One last thing, I want to buy a friends new baby some bath toys as a little gift, can I get them in like Tesco or do I need to go to Mothercare? What would you mums recommend?!
    Merci x
Supermarkets are great for baby toys, I find Mothercare really expensive. Loads on amazon http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/search/ref=sr_nr_scat_468292_ln?rh=n%3A468292%2Ck%3Adr+who&keywords=dr+who&ie=UTF8&qid=1337936834&scn=468292&h=ac8988477a0343aed8c867bca70aca1dcbf400b6#/ref=nb_sb_noss_2?url=search-alias%3Dtoys&field-keywords=bath+toy&rh=n%3A468292%2Ck%3Abath+toy or if you want smaller ones ada and tesco do little wind up bath figures and boats for about £1 each. x
THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!! :T thats a brilliant idea. i love the idea of a wooden tag, and a bow would make it look so much better...... now to find some wooden tags and bows.
Glad to help, not often I get a good idea lol. :) Ebay are good for wooden tags. :)

ReformedShopaholic-You have summed it up perfectly, Christmas Day is the only day you can truly switch off from life and enjoy all the good things! x

    Xmas Saver!
Here are the Elizabeth Shaw decs that I made last night. I have some other colour combinations to do.
But before I start, do you think they are a little dull ?

I prefer plain things, but don't know if they are too plain ?

  • I have previously bought miniatures for my pots of gold from the local off licence. Prices are very close to those shown on the miniatures site posted by OMO.

  • Hi guys I know chocolate slabs etc have been talked about loads but I can't seem to find it now!! I wanted to make some with my little brother in dec as gifts for his teachers && family as he's only 3 I think this is a good idea && mum agrees! What I wanted to know is do you just melt 3/4 of the chocolate then add the other 1/4 to the melted chocolate to melt? Then put it into molds? && how long do you leave it till you add things to the top?
    Thanks in Advance
