Definately worth watching as they were £6.60 in march :eek:Please do not quote spam as this enables it to 'live on' once the spam post is removed.

I'm very cross that I was in Swindon on Friday and it's snowing there today grrr
Seen the pics on the in-laws Facebook pages.
Very jealous, no snow in Bournemouth, although it was snowing in Yeovil which is only an hour away. We must have a dome over us like always! Lol

Love de-cluttering, to the point I don't really own much anymore. :rotfl:

Hi everyone :santa2: Have been lurking for a little while and just thought i'd share an idea. I have done a few bits of xmas shopping but sooo much more to get... anyway these 'multi-frame' £10 from wilkinson are great, I've bought one for my mum and am going to fill it with pics of the fam from the past year:
http://www.wilkinsonplus.com/photo-frames/wilko-photo-frame-multi-frame-rubberwood-dark/invt/0312549/?htxt=I351nqiNJw8b3SOJYR%2FWYjObhtF4kkTrWNT02YI8oohe%2Bfi0iJQIVNBZcW7ASAHuwwyuHRMf3NPc%0AKHvg29Hw7w%3D%3D
That's a lovely idea and a good price for a 'real' wood multi-frame. I've found that personalised gifts are always well received.
B&M have a lovely big white heart-shaped multi-frame for just £5. (The whole thing is a big heart shape but the actual apertures are a mix of square & rectangular 'windows'). I bought one a while back but my local store had them back in stock the other day. It's not solid wood (think they're probably MDF) but it still looks lovely in my shabby chic style kitchen and is a brill bargain.
EDIT: Been to B&M today and these are now £5.99 but still a bargain!0 -

Hi Tigerlilly, not sure how many maltesers you have to find a way to package but how about making a supersize maltesers tube out of a poster tube wrapped in red paper and the lettering enlarged and stuck on - that way you could put standard size packets inside so they stay fresh.2014 20p savers club #2 I've given up trying to keep track of how much that pig eats!
2014 £2 savers club #3 - I've no idea, but the pig is beginning to get mighty heavy

Hiya,
I have just gone through my wardrobe (which is minimal I assure you) and have found 8 tops to "flog" on eBay.
I am hoping I can make a little bit of money. Though I don't expect a lot.
I am racking my brains to see if there is anything else I can sell but I think we have pretty much sold everything we can now.
Hubby brought me the Miranda book when it was on special with the book people as an extra for my stocking which I am pretty chuffed about.
I worked out all the finances and there is no way I will afford to buy him the coffee maker at the moment, but I told him about it and he said which one he would have preferred so i said "they say its the thought that counts"LOL and I have decided im going to buy it for his Birthday with a nice selection of coffee's in a hamper with biscuits and things, I know its a long way away but he is hard to buy for so at least i can pick things up on offer as and when i see them and wont be pulling my hair out nearer the time..
I don't have much longer left now before the baby is due, I feel relieved to know pretty much everything is done for Christmas now. It will be so nice to know that we can relax and not have to rush around.
I was going to take that cardigan back to new look because its been about a month and ive not worn it once and it still has the tags on, but I have just found out that sale stuff is exchange only! I didn't realise that! Must pay more attention and not impulse buy in future. I tend to run hot and i just haven't been cold enough to wear it and i feel a bit michelin man in it - my SPD is too bad for me to go into town and pick something else up. Hubby has just said he is going to go into town now anyway as he needs to pay some money into the bank account so is going to ask if there is any way they will exchange it for a gift card :S we will see, I wont hold my breath!
We have had to dip into some of our "emergency" fund this month and im kind of starting to stress out about when the baby is born as we will have to go through our IVA for adjustment in December plus it will take time for child benefit to come through so we are going to be so skint for about 2 months!!
I have managed to stock pile some nappies in 2 different sizes as well as wipes and other essentials but in January we have car service, mot and tax
My Mum has said she is going to make us a christmas hamper this year (sorry if i already said - baby brain) last year she made us the gammon off the good food website and it was delicious, I really hope she makes that again! She is also making us Christmas cake, apple pies and mince pies. Last year she put in our favourite drink (some lager for hubby and cider for me), a box of tea bags and a magazine each too - if anyone has kids who dont live at home i have to say this was a really great gift! Definitely something I will always bare in mind for the in-laws/my own kids if they are ever struggling.
Also I know this sounds a bit tight, but as there is only us we brought a box of Christmas crackers 3 years ago and MIL gave us a box also 3 years ago, we take out 4 (2 of each) and have one each at Christmas lunch and dinner and then keep the rest sealed in the loft - we still have enough to last us another 2 years at least!
Also it isn't something my family would let us do but my friend 2 years ago brought all their family really beautiful special Christmas cards and in it wrote a poem about them being re used year after year (the idea being to save them money on cards and stamps) it went down ok with her family and now she doesn't send cards to anyone.
Does anyone else have any thrifty christmas tips like the 2 above?
Edit: They gave a credit noteSo i'll keep it for the Jan sales after baby is out and can get something then
Everything is always better after a cup of tea0
