working all day today and tomorrow so Sky+ the Christmas movies! though I did snatch 5 minutes to watch Lewis Hamilton take pole postition so that cheered me up!
feeling very dispirited as person who hit hubbies car in the week now backtracking and making all kinds of false statements, some people are just so horrible I dont know how they can live with themselves, this is the 2nd time in a few years somebody hit him and admitted being totally at fault, only to then retract it (after being talked into lying by husband and this time by parents) and accusing him of lying when he would never do such a thing, I wonder why we bother being honest and doing the right thing, and why Im working all hours this weekend when it will all just end up going on insurance access because of people being dishonest to save themselves money
kind of killed my Christmas spirit, apologies, dont mean to dampen the thread

If anybody is looking for a festive notebook for Christmas lists, IKEA have some that have a silver cover with snowflakes on. They are £1.25 for small ones and £1.99 for large ones. They were in the sales basket in the Coventry branch today.
The toast proposed at our wedding was for "health, wealth and happiness". Our family may not have the health and wealth but we make up for it with the happiness:D

to those of you buying chocolate advent calendars once you are finished with them the plastic in the middle would make a great chocolate mold. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0

Morning.
I went pressie shopping the other day, and got nothing, I just wasn't inspired. I need to get a wriggle on.
I did get loads of fab Christmas activity books, sticker books, paint your own bag, paint a Christmas canvas all from poundland.
Plus some lovely paper chain kits and more colouring books in Tesco. These are all for our Christmas elf to leave out for the kids to do during Dec.
We've had the same elf coming for 3 years now. He now comes with his 2 brothers (1 for each child) and this year one is bringing his wife for a short visit.
The kids love the magic of it all, wand wonder what mischief they are going it get up to.
OMO- your gifts are all great. I love the money tree cards, can I ask what you use to stick them to the card?
Sorry to her about your job Pinkandfluffy, hope you get another quickly xx:santa2::xmastree::santa2:0 -

INSPIRATIONAL !! That's what you are !!!:D

They are not actually stuck down. I didn't bother as I was not sending it anywhere.(I wanted my money back :rotfl:)
I would use a little blue tac along the middle of the tree. I wouldn't use anything stronger in case it damaged the note.
The bottom of my tree is in the pot, and the top is under the star. That is all that is keeping it there.
Well I have another busy day ahead of me. I need to go out to get ink and a few other bits, and it is pouring with rain.
Today I am making some more coasters.I am not sure about the technique yet, so am doing 2 lots differently, so see which gets the best results.
(Shrap that. Just had a peek and one set looks horrible, so I know not to do it that way again)
I am also making the sliders for my reindeer food.
The chocolates need making, as do all the tags.
Found a recipe for easy bath fizzers last night, but I think they will have to wait, as I am running out of kitchen work top. ( I think we may be having pizza for dinner, on our laps in the lounge)
Hope everyone has a nice Sunday.
Will be back this evening with todays makes.0 -
