great idea about the carbooter hamper, was thinking flask too! also on the dotcomgift sale I just placed another order and bought the set of 3 Retrospot Picnic Boxes (red/white spot) which are 14.95 down to 1.49, got really good reviews, do you think something like that for her to use for sandwiches, snacks, stock, change etc? would match the red spot stuff too

the idea of the umbrellas is great, the pink polka dots would be fantastic for girls of all ages (even my teen would probably go for the kitch/ironic thing ... but to be safe I went multi polka dot for her!) I got the pink for me and red/white/multi for gifts, got one for my mum's stocking too

I placed another small order last night with them as I wanted some of the pizza plates for DS stocking, he and OH love their pizza also got some of the Grow in a Can sunflower/Venus flytrap for stockings.

Had a good morning in Saimsburys on the Christmas pressie front, I got OH a set of gym dumb bells for 4.99 reduced from £20, he keeps mentioning he would like some for when he can't get to gym, also found a pop up chipping net for golf practice, reduced from 10.49 to 2.49 for DS stocking, as he loves stuff like that that he can practice in garden, had £7.50 of Nectar points so ... result!

popped to Boots to see of any of the Burts Bees stuff reduced as per Grabbit forum but only handwash 4.25 from 8.50 ... tho am pretty sure if I paid 8.50 for handwash Id want somebody standing by to personally dry my hands for me as well!

will be sure to click thanks on Grabbit for the dotcomgirf sale, will do it while I think about it

arrrgggh why didnt i think of buying extra umbrellas?! as you said i could have given one to my dads gf! oh well too late now......unless theres any left next week for another order!

very pleased with my first Dotcomgifts order, the umbrellas are very nice quality and handbag sized so really useful, the pencil pots are lovely, I got London Bus ones for DS and friends little boy, red spot for DD and skull print for DD's friends b'day along with matching skull print bag, DD loved the skull pot so much I may order another and a few more bits - CarlaMarie there are still umbrellas on the sale site, so hope you get some more!

the little zinc/flower tealight holders (3.95 down to 39p) are really nice, you could fit quite a few tealights inside them if you wanted to make up a gift set/hamper, they are like little metallic flower pots with flower shapes cut out of top

Hoping my order comes today. Did get a delivery I wasn't expecting, ordered a bag from The Cambridge Satchel Company, ordered it a cuple of weeks ago and knew I would have to wait for about a month, so was surprised to get it today. Love it! I know that this is a money saving site, but cost is relative, it cost me about £90 I think, but is leather, think they make to order and got my initial embossed on it, will last me the rest of my life and will never date. All I have to do now is think of someone with my initials that I can leave it to when I pop my clogs!!!:rotfl:

I'm not even into Christmas in a major way, just really enjoy picking up the bits for people throughout the year. I have a huge box of bits I've picked up through the year, just worried I'll buy and buy and end up with enough for next year too

As a heads up, M&S have some fab mini perfumes in the sale for £2 a go. The Butterfly one is an identical smell to DKNY apple perfume. Most of them smell like celebrity perfumes. Really nice stocking stuffers for most ages, my local store had piles of them.

i was really impressed with the red spotted sandwich boxes - set of 3, £1.95, they are really good quality and a good size.
The whole was amazing, I easily go back and spend another £50........ but have to be really gd, but def recommend to anyone, (don't forget topcashback you get 8% back). x
