    oh how adorable is rudolph monopoly!! definately keeping an eye on that here too :)

    I love reading peoples lists too, but makes me panicky over how disorganised i am!

    Having a dilemma about 2 of my girls -

    the oldest is the most difficult to buy for, she will be 10 at christmas and due to large family has pretty much anything she could need! Last year she wanted a book and donation to charity - thoughtful, yes, but damn hard trying to bulk out the prezzie pile!!

    my youngest is 3 (nearly 4 at xmas) and loves toy story and is asking for the toy story toys but they are just so expensive - buzz and woody alone are £50 :eek:

    wish things were simple and i didn't stress about everything!

    Gutted the lego friends calender isnt coming out my dd2 loves them!

    have you been in disney store lately they have the girl from toy story3 (cant remember her name) who andy gives his toys to, reduced to £15, not sure if it does anything tho

    i have just put in an order with dotcomgiftshop (hence the green things above!) and got a few things for the kids stocking

    ds1;
    skull pencil tube,
    skull tissues (not really a present i know but ds1 will love these!)
    grow in a can (either a sunflower or a venus fly trap i think it was)

    dd;
    hearts tissues
    grow in a can

    ds2;
    space boy tissues
    london bus pencil tube

    i have had a idea for the mother in law, she is an avid carbooter (buying that is) and i thought about a 'carbooting survival hamper'
    so my ideas are, the stuff i have just ordered;
    red spot brolly
    red spot and blue paisely (different design on each side) pocket shopping bag
    red spot tissues
    blue paisley tissues

    then i thought of adding some gloves and a scarf and maybe some mints/sweets to nibble on the way around.

    any ideas as to what i could add to this?
    if it helps, the site she usually goes to is very open, therefore windy in winter, the floor is chalky and you ALWAYS get your trousers white at the bottoms!! i did think of some boots (wellies are prob more sensible but she wont wear them), but not sure if boots are a personal thing? what do you all think?

    Bonnie lol. I saw that online but didn't realise it was a sale price as it didn't indicate that on the website - on closer inspection it says it has 15 phrases im sure dd would love it - i might get it next time i'm in edinburgh and hide it away - thank you

    will keep eye, looks like Disney Store sale already finished, that was quick! :eek:

    found when mine were smaller and they wanted something for Chrsimtas in September, Id get it, put it away then they wouldnt mention it again! so not long before Christmas I'd get out/watch/mention/read something connected with what they had mentioned and suddenly they would be interested in it again! :D they are also so open to suggestion at that age Im sure you would be able to subtly nudge her around by making sure TS was on on the Disney Channel or soemthing when she was around!

    suggestions for 10 yo, last year found the pre teen and teen girls going mad for the knitted hats with animal faces on etc? got my DD one with bear face and ears, and several others for friends/cousins etc, they all love them, Next have some brilliant ones - I just ordered a zebra knitted hat form their autumn previous for my DD, see all the teen girls wearing them on their way to school on the cold(er!) weather

    Lol i do that too - let them think its their idea ;)

    I'm sure my dd would love those hats, she did see some in river island so thats an idea for the list - thank you!

    She would love a pauls boutique coat lots of her friends have them but she's so small and they only come in adult sizes lol, wee shame

    warm socks? what about a book guide to carbooting, or haggling, or something like this

    what about one of those thermos cups to take coffee round with her?

    carlamarie, you could save a few ££ by swapping your dads girlfriends present from chocs to an umbrella if you have any spares ordered. I ordered extra so i can use them for extra gifts if needed.

    I ordered 10 pink umbrellas as party bag presents. I reckon 8 yr old girls will quite like all having the same umbrella, LOL!:D
    I'm very pleased with the quality of everything, as I knew I would be, I've ordered from DotCom sales before.
    Could I ask you guys to press the thanks button for the original poster on Grabbit, Autumngirl? She deserves the thanks rather than me. Here's the link:

    You can get lip balm in Poundland, pack of 3. Nothing worse than chapped lips. What about a travel mug, she could make it up before she leaves home and just wander around without it getting cold?
