Went into town yesterday and my local Store twenty one were selling 10m rolls of Christmas wrapping paper off at 10p! Needless to say I bought 20 rolls I shouldn't run out this year! I also managed to get a "Christmas countdown" chalkboard for just 10p, a box of luxury crackers (original price £8.99) for just 20p and 6 Christmas placemats and a table runner for 50p My local card factory is also desperately trying to get rid of last years stocks so got 200 Cards for £1.50

It was like Christmas for me yesterday when 20 Christmas dvd's arrived on my doorstep courtesy of Play.com including favouites such as Elf, Grinch, White Christmas, The snowman, Love actually, All 3 Santa Claus movies Ordered 20 Christmas films for less than £20 by going to the "Other sellers" option...most of the films were advertised as "Used - like new" but have even arrived still sealed! I suggest you all check it out if you're looking for cheap Christmas films....great for Christmas eve hampers

Make it now just keep feeding it brandy or your chosen alcohol.

wow Opee92! I thought I was organised but I have much to learn ! you have done brilliantly and some fantastic bargains, wish I had a Store 21! I lvoe ready peoples lists too, bit of a list freak!

Sainsburys half price toy sale is half term week in October as others have said, is brilliant for stocking up, I do a recky a few days before but even tho ours isn a mega store you cant ge near the toys for people a lot of the time, so it's an early early for me

I have seen on Amazon that there is a Rudolph Monopoly this year! its £27 on pre order so will watch it, I will post the link later, we love Monopoly so that would be great for Christmas, be worth an eye in Sainsburys in case they get it in before the sale, but somehow I doubt that would be in for the half price sale!

I use Amazon Marketplace too for DVD's and books especially, usually great as people have said, and never had in issue - yet!

Decided at weekend to do a hamper for my two and OH for Christmas Eve. theme Angry Birds for OH, Man Utd for DS and Zebra for DD (found gorgeous Zebra slipper socks and also knitted hat in Next autumn preview, also found Zebra Blue Nose me to you bear and zebra print pens on Amazon) hubby is always on AB but Im on it too !!

Argh, snugglebunny, i'm now watching Rudolph monopoly too!

Im also keeping an eye out for the new lego advent calendar, I got one for DS1 last year and it was a big hit. He still plays with it now.

Thank you, I only checked amazon. I'm off to see if i can find any details on the themes for this year!

ETA, there is a lego city one which has a fire station theme, a lego star wars and a lego friends one. I will be going for the star wars one this year I think.
