I got some of the lovely zinc flower tealight holders down from 3.95 to 39p, will be lovely to make up a gift pack with different tea lights, also got some of the polka dot umbrellas in different colours, from 12.95 down to 1.29, and the pencils in different boxes for £1, great for gift packs and stockings :)

Wow, they really hate the South West!

Just to really make those in SW feel better, there are only 2 places in Irish republic, both of which I end up in at some stage everytime I go home!!!!!!!!!!:rotfl:
A smile costs little but creates much :)

have ordered one each of each of the Christmas tealight candles from Kringle, thought Id try them all as they are 80p, (6 hours burning time each) p+p is 2.50 but you do get this >> ONE Free Wax Pot Pourri for EVERY £5.00 Spent, Burthday Offer (this is unlimited, so you get 2 if you spend £10 etc, they are £2 each on the site) and its added automatically to your basket

great reviews, only thing that looks a little odd is that they use a gmail address? :)

they are much cheaper than Yankee as well :)

    Hi All,

Well I think as soon as we hit July 1st my internal "must get ready for xmas" gene REALLY kicked in... This week I had everything out that I have bought so far and got it all sorted and on a list, and I have put it all on this years Spent V Saved xmas excel spreadsheet. (Must point out that this also includes birthdays as I have a lot in December)

I have also bought my DD and DS a couple of cheap dvds and books as stocking fillers (one of each will be given to them from the cat, lol).

I have ordered (and now received) the Wii xmas game mentioned on the thread earlier for my kids xmas eve hamper.

Best of all I have bought a xmas pressie for my SiL would is a nightmare and never likes anything, and this year I think I am on a winner, and I have bought my hubby (also a nightmare to buy for) a big present (a Ralph Lauren polo shirt and managed to get him a stocking filler present also - the "Top Gear xmas book", brand new from a charity shop for 99p.

Finally....I managed to get White Christmas on dvd for £1 in the same charity shop as the top gear book, and so I have spent the afternoon watching that.

Thanks to everyone for the heads up about Kringle Candles. Hubby has googled for me and there's a shop that sells them about 10 miles from here so we are going to head over next weekend. : )

    Lol, excellent.

All I've really done so far is make an extremely long list. (18 pages in Word!).

I've ordered a few new decorations. And a new red mat to go under the tree. Oh and rather embarrassingly, one of those log fire DVDs to play on the TV while we're opening presents/wrapping presents/decorating the tree.
    *insert slightly embarrassed smiley*

wow BBThree you are doing well!! and LalaGomey, dont be embarrassed! you are speaking to somebody who enjoys watching a big purple dinosaur hanging Christmas lights ... and grown ups cant see him, remember?

will give you a heads up when the tea lights come :) I ordered one each of the Christmas ones plus a mulled spices one

the more I look at the dotcomgifts site the more bargains there are, so much is 90% off - I got several umbrellas at 1.29 down from 12.95, they are all different colour polka dots so would be great for all ages, and the round boxes of pencils are all kinds of patterns and designs, got skull print black box for teen, the one with London buses on for little ones and red/white spot for a pre teen, well worth looking if you havent been on there already

Part of the Furniture Photogenic Combo Breaker Xmas Saver!
must get my butt in gear.

so far DS1 has 3 large lego sets for christmas/ birthday (october) that have been got on offer.
i have a few bits for family/ friends that are still in the box unclaimed since last year that will get re-cycled.

But had an idea (similar to above poster) that I will make up candle gift sets for the women this year (it was DIY bodyshop ones last year).
Trouble is I LLOVEE shopping for christmas things!!
loves how my "I've been censored" signature has been censored. LOL. Happy Christmas. :xmastree:
