ive not tried kringle candles yet but im wanting to after my last yankee candle i bought. it left over 2 inches in the jar when the wick was gone!!!!
i emailed them and when they replied, 10 days later they tried fobbing me off saying it was a new safety precaution, apperantly the candle now stops burning about 2 inches to the bottom to stop the glass cracking(without the customer losing any burning tine or scent?!?!)! funny since i bought 2 together and the 1st one didnt do it and neither have any of my others!
i have heard that the quality has gone down though since they sold the company, so i think i might have to give kringle a goMummy to ds 29/12/06 dd 10/2/08 ds 25/5/11:Amy angel born too soon 18/11/12, always with me Emmie Faith:A15 projects in 2015 10/15completed0 -
Thanks I'm sure it will it's more get leg op she is worried about as she doesn't want to loose her leg but that's very likely but that's not for a few months yet!!
On another note I was looking through my pressie rash before and have a bit more than I realised which is always good&& I've just ordered my little brother a lightening McQueen remote control car from eBay for 10.00 including p&p and it's 25 in Disney shop last time I looked! So he's done along with my mum and oh cus and grandad and my step mum! I have a few bits for my sister stocking too nearer the time I'm going to make my gran, aunt and mum some little photo books from vista print! I need to wait till closer the time as the one for my gran is going to be of her gran kids as a baby and now and the one for my aunt is of her 3 little boys from their bdays etc up till now as they got older! Just need to keep my eyes open for deals on other bits for everyone else!

I haven't finished any of the Yankee jars I have yet, but previously with other candles if I have any wax left after the wick has burnt away or candles have tunnelled I chip it out then melt it like you would a wax tart in my burner!0 -
The kringle ones sound fab, especially the Home For Christmas one.
Does anyone know if any shops stock them? like HOF/BHS etc?

Really wanted to watch Fred Claus last night but the disc was not in the case grrr, went to Cash converters today and they had 10 dvds for £10 so got 10 including 5 christmas ones one of which was Fred Claus!
Worth a look in Cash converters as they always have 20 dvds for £20 or 10 for £10 in my local one and it includes all dvds even sealed ones if they have any! Good for movie baskets etc.

Have had a constructive Christmas afternoon - shame about the washing up and ironing and that I have forgot to take the meat out to defrost for dinner..............oops!
I have sorted out the 'present' cupboard wrote down all dd1 presents and put them all in a bag for life. She will be 6 at xmas and really struggling what to get her. And it's her birthday on 8th November and have no clue for that either! Big things I've got are pantomime tickets, a pushchair and she wants a pink swing which I have found in Argos fingers crossed it might be reduced at the end of summer though it is only £24.99 now! Ooh just remembered I bought the candy grabber from hawkins today for £4 which I'm sure she will love!
I also sorted out dd2 to be presents (Im due 21st Nov) so that dd1 doesn't think Santa would have left her sister out. Just a couple of bits things that attach onto the pram etc thanks to the Argos bargains on the grabbit board!
I have found some bits for the xmas elf and have wrote out some elfcapades think I have 13 at the moment!
Made a start on the shoebox appeal not got too much so far but have got a teddy, stationery set, stickers & some bracelets.
Found a few bits for xmas eve hamper such as a packet of reindeer food and our Santa key.
so a great afternoon :rotfl:Spreading a little Christmas joy all year round :santa2:0 -
