Right been a busy day....went to primark and tried on navy Santa jumper, seems I cannot pull off navy and the whole time I had it on I kept thinking blue is for boys(I know its not just for boys really but it didn't look good on me.) So went to get the penguin one and they didn't have my sizeSo now I have no Christmas jumper. Did see the spiderman onesie and after mentioning the hulk one to OH to see if he would wear one am going to go back to get Spiderman one another time.
I bought some of those HB Christmas mugs today
Haven't seen any Christmas pyjamas I liked. Seen the snowman marshmallows.
Got an email from Hobbycraft - they have 3 for 2 on preserve making.
So lots of jars in email:
1.9 oz hexagonal jar 79p.
3.8oz Hexagonal for £1.00
8 oz hexagonal £1.29
1lb round £1.49
2lb round £1.99
35oz deluxe £3.49
Not sure if that is cheap or expensive but hope it helps if someone is stuck for jars.
I'm not sure yet if I want more of them for my snowman soups for friends or not, part of me does think I could find some cheaper, I think these will end up being mine and mums for our Christmas eve hamper :A
Now I'm off to look at hobby craft I don't know anything about it so it must be worth a look :rotfl:0 -
I see I am really good at posting on my phone. Not only did I spam myself, I managed to post the same thing twice.:ojessimacalucy87 wrote: »grrr annoying! just tried to make the first of my jams for the christmas hamper, tried this recipe.... http://www.silverspoon.co.uk/home/recipes/05/crushed-peach-preserve
well i always get something go wrong and this time all my peaches have floated to the top of the jars, im guessing i didnt mash the peaches enough, ah well, on the plus side me and the OH have got lots of peach jam to eat ourselves now!
I am thinking of making this for Christmas. Looks like it can't go wrong.

Popped into 99p store before work and got these:D:D
Am going to put our Celebrations and Heros in 2 and Toffees/Mints in the third.
As you can see, I got my Bah Humbug decs for my Dads Hamper :j
They also had these. Sorry can't remember who was asking about mugs .
I got all the chocolate and toppings for my Chocolate slabs. Am just waiting on these Penguin moulds from Ebay, and I ready to go.

bossymoo I am sure this Christmas will be difficult for you all, but I know your children will love their elf, and having their Grandparents stay for Christmas .0 -
I love the reindeer cardigan best. I may have to see if I can get it next time im at Matalan.“I'm selfish, impatient and a little insecure. I make mistakes, I am out of control and at times hard to handle. But if you can't handle me at my worst, then you sure as hell don't deserve me at my best.”
