    Hi all!
My elf finally arrived. I had a card from postie last Wednesday, went to depot Friday, but they couldn't find it and he denies all knowledge of it. So after much to-ing and fro-ing they have called me today to say it has turned up. Hurrah. It's only little and he giggles, I think he's called Benny ;)

What's everyone's favourite winter warmer drink? I've heard people mention chili hot choc? What's that all about? Sounds interesting! I'm thinking of treating myself to some sugar free coffee syrups (still a bit more weight to come off before december and BAILEYS TIME!!!)

I hope the kiddies like the elf magic. DD was 2 last month, but DS will be 4 in jan. do you think they'll get it?

My mil is giving us their Xmas tree. She said they'll never put it up again :( (my dh died last year :() but they do come and stay here from Xmas eve for a few nights so will still have some festive cheer and we'll just have to look after each other and try not to be too sad, make it nice for the little ones.

    Afternoon all

Love the Xmas mugs in HB AmyTurtle, really wish there was one near me.

Am hoping to get to Primark to look at the Xmas jumpers for DD's, but have to wait till Sunday so can be escorted by DH's bank card as I am skint until the end of the month.

Have had a lovely big delivery from Amazon, but can't open to have a look at the goodies until DD's tucked up in bed.

  • Thinking of getting my dad some liquorice themed gifts and I cant give him other flavors besides the traditional black liquorice as he hates them. Does anyone have any ideas.

Just read the limoncello recipe. May have to get some of the stuff to make it. Is it nice?

  • Evening all,

Right been a busy day....went to primark and tried on navy Santa jumper, seems I cannot pull off navy and the whole time I had it on I kept thinking blue is for boys(I know its not just for boys really but it didn't look good on me.) So went to get the penguin one and they didn't have my size :( So now I have no Christmas jumper. Did see the spiderman onesie and after mentioning the hulk one to OH to see if he would wear one am going to go back to get Spiderman one another time.

I bought some of those HB Christmas mugs today :)

Haven't seen any Christmas pyjamas I liked. Seen the snowman marshmallows.

Got an email from Hobbycraft - they have 3 for 2 on preserve making.
So lots of jars in email:
    1.9 oz hexagonal jar 79p.
    3.8oz Hexagonal for £1.00
    8 oz hexagonal £1.29
    1lb round £1.49
    2lb round £1.99
    35oz deluxe £3.49

Not sure if that is cheap or expensive but hope it helps if someone is stuck for jars.
