http://www.poundland.co.uk/images/2893/original/2-fibre-optic-trees.jpg. These look good for a child's room maybe and what a bargain :)

My two had similar trees in their room when they were small and loved them, we got them out every year until recently. Need to find something else for teens now as the novelty has worn off!

    Hi all,

    Hamper help please

I would like to make a chocolate hamper. She will also get a mini pot of gold with a scratch card and a £10 new look voucher inside it.

Can you think of other cheap chocolate related things (taste, smell or colour) apart from the below which I could add in – (also please let me know which shops might have them)? I saw some chocolate smelling bath and crèmes in superdrug but they where £3 each and that would have blown my budget.

    Superdrug choc face mask
    Hot chocolate
    Eating chocolate
    Chocolate cookies
    Chocolate coloured flannel
and a couple of books for reading whilst eating all that chocolate

Don't know what your budget is but what about this

    http://www.amazon.co.uk/Chocolat-DVD/dp/B004UGALUE/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1350470232&sr=8-1

May be able to get it cheaper elsewhere - only looked on Amazon !

A chocolate recipe book from somewhere like The Works ?

i saw bubble bath in home bargains, packaging wasnt unlike the philosophy range and they were 89p - cant remember if it was chocolater or caramel, but i'm presuming either would work lol.

what about making a chocolate slab as suggested before (sorry dont know who - memory isn't great - no offence intended!) and putting her name on it

i've seen chocolate lip gloss in claire's

    keyring
    http://compare.ebay.co.uk/like/120518928715?var=lv&ltyp=AllFixedPriceItemTypes&var=sbar&cbt=y

    chocolate coloured fluffy socks

chocolate sets from iceland/home bargains, less than a quid and shaped like a little make up set

chocolate candle? yankee do a few - chocolate bunnies, chocolate truffle

    hope this helps.

poppygirl - i second the xmas jammies and antlers, or santa hat - comfort is probably best at that time. If your anything like me at 1am xmas morning you will be covered in cellotape, blood, sweat and tears LOL (although not this year hehe)

thanks everyone for wishes for dd - hospital again tomorrow so should find out more *fingers crossed* just wish i could take it all away from her.

thanks for the elf link omo this is our first elf year so great to get ideas! Who said they were printing off a passport (memory again!) did you design yourself or get a printable?

I've designed all my own bits this year. which can be personalised for each elf. there are some sites online that do their own template but i prefered my own lol (without blowing my own trumpet there, did a graphics set for someone on fb the other day and they were very complementary about it :) )

Couple of sites for some ideas..

i suppose if im making a passport id need to name the little fella 1st, also do i give him in his book box or on his own?

Cant wait to wrap the tree in toilet paper haha

  • lol i've made duvets and pillows and he'll sleep inside his xmas suitcase, I got one of the wilkinsons felt gift bags (red with a white snowflake on) to put his passport, message cards etc in.

Got lots of silly things planned and the only thing i need to go pick up really is the santa keys. Then i can get it all sorted together instead of bits and pieces everywhere lol.

booo to the no xmas jumpers, im lucky my dh won't wear one but he wouldn't stop me buying any or making them! Infact i made myself a christmas scarf yesterday look!
