im getting over the shock! and coming round to the idea of xmas not at home we are off up to scotland this friday for 10 days so will see how the house is and make some plans

my plans so far are to take up wat iv already wrapped for that side of the family (this trip) and finish buying while im up there then its only my 2 and oh to buy for ss will have a dsi and his mum can do bits and pieces but i will have to tell her not too much as we have to bring it all home!!

im hoping to get the kids onsies for xmas eve :) and snowman soup
it will be a good xmas if it snowed while we r there as in Cornwall and dont see much of the white stuff

i think as long as i can fit in the things that r special 2 me such as making mince pies with the kids, the whole sprinkling reindeer food snuggling up and watching a film il cope
(not sure how im gunna cope sleeping in a room with my 2 and there 2 cousions on xmas eve! just have to have an extra baileys or 3 )

Hi everyone, what Christmas and Craft blogs do you all read? I'm in need of a new hit! Also do any of you have your own blogs, I've heard some mentioned? I'd love links to them! Thanks!

Thanks so much everyone for being so welcoming towards me :)

Crosswords and puzzles seem like a good idea for my mum seen as she will be on a soup diet! To be honest I'm not all that sure what my dad will be able to do, he's dyslexic to start with, but I dunno how the surgery will affect him, or what his appetite will be like. Thinking maybe some clothes since he will be doing a lot of recuperating at home?

    Welcome Megan
How about a pair of the snugglest, warmest, sofest pjs you can find Megan? And a lovely pair of quality slippers. Everyone loves anew pair of Pjs at Xmas. :D

    Welcome Poppygirl :)

Lol at the old lady in M&S Snuggle bunny nad thanks for the tip about the skittles - will be grabbing some for the Xmas Eve hampers.

Kaymum - glad to hear you are feeling more optimistic about Xmas and hopefully you can get a few things sorted in your head when you go to visit next week. Like you said, if you bring stuff up this time that will help alot. Ps loving the onesies in the hampers - might have to do that myself too :)

PS ladies - In my sainsburys local today they had fathers day keyrings left over - pretty cute for stockings. They are round, red and say Worlds greatest Dad on - on back its a bottle opener. They were 15p. Grabbed one for my Dad's hamper and my oh's stocking :)
