I shall find out hopefully in about an hours time - I have an appointment at 3.45.
I had to have a 3rd Gestational Diabetes test in 10 weeks and get the results today. But also they are concerned about my blood pressure - the stupid thing is now I know they are concerned I have done nothing but worry so when I have it re taken again today it is going to be sky high because im so worried!!!
Also I think my Iron levels have dropped again despite me taking supplements daily.
My SPD is horrific at the moment and coupled with all the anxiety my hormones are a bit haywire!
I think I am beginning to really face reality that it wont be long until we have a baby at home and after 5 years and 10 miscarriages and going through so much I don't think it had really all sunk in until now! But with the prospect of the diabetes and pre eclampsia im also worried about things going wrong.
So I have hibernated a little bit this past week.
Hopefully it will all have been a false alarm and I can celebrate being perfectly healthy later
BTW Whoever made/brought those knitted elves I WANT 1!!!!!!!!!!!! I shall read more when I get back later and find out if I can buy one but if someone made them then i think you should go into business! All the other elves freak me out a little bit but when i was little my great nanny used to knit dolls and teddys and those remind me of her and id definitely buy one!
Well all the hurt you've clearly gone through in the past will be worth it when you have you baby in your arms
I can't imagine what you must of gone through with having so many miscarriages, I've had one and that was dreadful enough so to go through ten must be utterly heartbreaking.
I'm so glad that you're finally going to have a baby that is clearly very much wanted by you and your DH.
I hope everything went well at the appointmentHaving a coke with youis even more fun than going to San Sebastian, Irun, Hendaye, Biarritz, Bayonne
or being sick to my stomach on the Travesera de Gracia in Barcelona0 -

Huge squishy hugs chirpychick and best wishes for a completely uneventful rest of pregnancy, boring textbook birth and perfect infant.
I have miscarried twice since my daughter was born and my DH is visiting a specialist next week to have his, um, end of the bargain checked for abnormalities. It's horrible that so many women have such experiences and I hope there's no more suffering for you in the future.Organised Birthdays and Christmas: Spend So Far: £193.75; Saved from RRP £963.76

Oooh what have you got in mind??Picked up an M&S food catalogue, but I'm full of a streaming cold at the moment so nothing took my fancy whilst flicking through itShall have a proper look when I feel better.
I hope you feel better soon Melon!chirpychick wrote: »I think I am beginning to really face reality that it wont be long until we have a baby at home and after 5 years and 10 miscarriages and going through so much I don't think it had really all sunk in until now! Chirpychick I haven't had any children so i'm not really qualified to say anything but I really wish you lots of luck and hope that they can help you throught the last part of your pregnancy comfortably. I can't even imagine what you've been through, but soon all of that we will be a distant memory when you hold your little one in your arms. He will really light up your life and your home. Good luck with everything xxx0 -
I too bought a Christmas magazine the other day - I couldn't help myself! I wasn't overy impressed with it, I think I could have got a better one but it did have some nice free coasters with it that I can put out at Christmas. I have seen some lovely craft ideas but alas I am making my own wedding invites and really need to crack on with them at the moment.
I bought my OH a book for Christmas today, I had previously bought one but ended up giving it to him as he was moaning he didn't have a book to take on holiday!
I was wondering if I could ask you guys for some help - my OH is a massive golf nut and he has some boxers at the moment with pictures of golf balls on them that he always loves to wear when he plays, however lets just say that they're getting a bit old now! If any of you see any golf themed ones when you're out shopping could you let me know? I don't really want to spend too much money on them, they'll just be a bit of fun to go in his stocking. Apologies for the intimate nature of this request!!0 -
