chirpychick I can't offer any advice with regards to spd or Mc's. But I can offer support re being anxious all thru pregnancy. Dd1 was born soooo early see ticker and dd2 was an unplanned surprise. I bled thru both pgs and was told dd2 would be early too due to a problem with cervix, but they didn't know when. Hence, me wishing the pg away to get as far as poss! Admitted to hosp for threatening labour 4 times. Eventually she wanted out at 36w and i was already in hosp so they whipped me in for a sunroof exit! I suppose what im tryi.g to say is that you cant steer nature, what will he, will be but preperation and good care are the key to managing it the best yoy all can. Big hugs and always here if you want to chat about it all xxx

So I thought I'd follow other good examples on here and have received a delivery from Asda of a tin of celebrations... I'm gutted. They have taken out the galaxy truffles!! That is just not fair!! Grump!! That was the only reason why I agreed to have them over cadbury's heros... so that means I'm going to have to buy a tin of them too! Grump!!

  • Hello,
I have been pretty absent for a while but I just nipped on to tell you that my M&P's Crumble sack arrived in the store for collection today - Just when I was about to phone them and chase it up! So anyone else waiting for theirs should receive them shortly :)
I will post a pic if you like later, hope everyone is well. I shall catch up over the next 2 days :)

i got the phone call too - must say thanks again to the person who posted it on here, so happy i grabbed one - on a luckier note mamas and papas have messed up on orders so much i have managed to get £25 from them, and this has brought all of the new babys presents - just little toys in the sale and 2 books - not going mad as need to get a cot bed in jan - now if only it wanted to arrive!!!!

am 8 days over today, and will be induced sunday - but have been up since 5am with ds being sick(which i then follow - sorry for tmi) so have had a bad day - on the plus side with him off school tomorrow may see if he wants to watch an xmas movie!!!!

Had some in our 99p store on Friday.

    Re- Oil bottles.
NO GOOD. Why is it when you want something a bit cheap they are good quality, and vise versa with that shop. The labels are somehow printed on the glass. I have tried everything to get them off. Even sandpaper. That got it off but scratched the glass.
I think paint stripper might work, but by the time you have bought that you may as well buy dearer bottles.
Oh well, back to the drawing board.:(

:)Have started my Blackjack Vodka. It is a nice dirty dish washer colour at present.:rotfl:

hello, it's me :) been out of the loop on here for a few days now, but popping in to say I picked up the Boots christmas catalog today! It's lovely looking through it and getting excited, and I'm sure there's a few things I will get.....but a lot of it seems overpriced and I keep thinking 'I could make up a set like that for at least a couple of quid cheaper!' ...AND I wouldn't have to work out what I'm getting with the 3 for 2! hehe! ...so I may use it for ideas and then put my own sets together :) Pinterest is great for ideas for gifts!

Got to agree - there is a bottle of Bavaria Beer and glass in the catalogue for £10. The exact same bottle of beer in Morrisons is £1.00
