This is mainly due to me changing schemes this year from silver and winter wonderland to move vintage style so I'm making a lot of new decorations as well as buying a few added bits I can't wait to decorate our home what colours/ theme do other people go for?
Our main room decorations are a traditional tree with reds, greens and golds. Then in the dining room we have a white tree and white tinsel and bright coloured baubles like pink, purple and blue. Then this year I'm making the conservatory all shabby chic/vintage/Scandinavian.
We have so much different stuff because (a bit like you) I kept changing the style every year. So now I feel like I should use it all!:rudolf: :rudolf: :rudolf: :rudolf: :rudolf:0 -

When I'm there I will always try to get into the John Lewis car park - think its St Davids 2? Because I find it the cheapest, sometimes there's too big a queue though - i'm usually in a rush whenever i'm there..2018

Oh my. Ipswich is getting a John Lewis Homeware/Waitrose.:j:j
May go to the new next up that way next week, I have never seen one as big, it should stock everything. Although it would be just as easy to order it to our store.
Will have a think about that .This is mainly due to me changing schemes this year from silver and winter wonderland to move vintage style so I'm making a lot of new decorations as well as buying a few added bits I can't wait to decorate our home what colours/ theme do other people go for?
VICSH we used to be very traditional in our old Victorian house. All tartan, red, green and gold.
We now have black and white. Not very Chrismassy but very modern. The downstairs of our house is black and white all year, and it looks ok. We tried adding dark purple one year but it didn't look right.
The only exception to this is MY ANGEL. My Mum and Dad got her to go on the tree for my first Christmas, and I still get her out every year . (They didn't bother before they had me) She doesn't go on the tree anymore (we don't have anything on top of the tree), but hangs in the middle of the welsh dresser.

Saw these today and couldn't resist getting for my Rock Chick DD.
She will SO love them. Sometimes that is the problem starting early, you just keep seeing things. They were in the sale in a older persons shoe shop. A shop none of her friends would be seen dead in, so I should be safe in none of them getting a pair before Christmas. I only went in as it started to rain:D

If you have a Boyes (not sure if just a yorkshire/lincolnshire thing?!) they seem to have them in there, also seen one that is "The Butler"
They're also in dunelm mill but they're different to the ones I have. DM is: http://www.dunelm-mill.com/shop/his-lordship-mug-201923?utm_source=google&utm_medium=googleshopping&utm_campaign=gshopping
and the one I have is: http://www.furfeatherandfin.com/product/106/km32/his-lordship-and-her-ladyship-mugs.html#.UG8hYU3AeSo (only have the 'her ladyship' one)

Own My Own-That is a beautiful angel! Love the boots too.
princesskitty29-Following the aristocratic theme of the mugs lol, what about making pots of gold? Add some choc coins, ferrero rocher, scratchcard?
VICSH-I dont really have a theme. I used to but now we have such a jumble of stuff which is the way I like it.I do absolutely love white trees with bright decorations, they look so pretty. I would definitely get one if we had a spare room like a dining room or something.
