For anyone looking for xmas jammies - saw some red fleecey ones in Asda today.. Seemed pretty good quality & were £7.00.
If you go onto the website & type in 'Fairisle Print Fleece Pyjama Set' you'll see them.
They have got them under girls, but they was with the baby grows - no girls labels or anything!
HTH :-):j Debt free as of 04/10/2012! :j:xmassmile [STRIKE]Saving[/STRIKE] Spending for Christmas! :xmassmile0 -
I've got my Mum, Dad, sister and Niece coming (dont know whether her partner is working yet) plus me, DH and DD1 and DD2. Thankfully our house is large enough to the adults can eat in the Dining Room and the children in the kitchen on their own table which they decorate and think is fab. We take it in turns and last year I had DH's family - thankfully they seem to be mellowing as they used to be a nightmare!!! I'm hoping to order the Three Bird Roast from M&S as Dad loves it and do a piece of beef as well. I'll placemy order when the food magazine comes out next week and then pay weekly to spread the cost - much easier x0

For anyone looking for Monster High stuff, have just seen that Asda Direct have loads of stuff now including some I hadn't seen before. They also have some clothes and it says there will be a fancy dress outfit out soon.

Ellie just in case it's of any interest I noticed Aldi have their 3 bird roast in the freezers already - it always sells out and gets excellent reviews. Think it's £9.99 but might be wrong.0 -
THIS MAY BE DISTRESSING FOR PEOPLE.
does anyone have any subscriptions on the family tree building websites? if you would like to know more, please highlight the following;
the reason i ask is, my nanna died on christmas day last year and she unfortunatley went to her grave not knowing where her eldest son was buried. he was a baby when he died and my grandad sorted everything out. (i believe she had a breakdown after his death . but she always wanted to know wher he was burie
I have decided to find where he is and 'visit' her to tell her (sorry if that sounds stupid!)
i have tried a search on line and i need to subscribe to get the exact date of his birth and death which is what im needing in order to seek him on the burial records.
i can also purchase his death certifficate which would cost me a tenner, but i also dont feel right owning his certificate, if that makes sense?!
i was hoping to do this before her first aniversary which would of course be this christmas day!
could anyone help me? i know his name, year of death and birth and cityMummy to ds 29/12/06 dd 10/2/08 ds 25/5/11:Amy angel born too soon 18/11/12, always with me Emmie Faith:A15 projects in 2015 10/15completed0 -

DS1 predicted this morning we will have a white christmas (apparently it is going to snow while he is in bed)................................
.................................................................he also said it will snow tomorrow so we shall see.
He brought home a letter saying they can go and see the pantomime through school........... typical on a day he can't do.
So promised to take him another time.......... till I saw the price. Just short of £25 for me and him to go and thats in the cheapest seats no where near the stage. looking at £30+:eek:
The operatic society do a slightly cheaper pantomime so think I'll have to look into that.loves how my "I've been censored" signature has been censored. LOL. Happy Christmas. :xmastree:0 -

Also got cream basket in there for my brother & sister in laws hamperSlightly worn out mum to 3 (DS1 May 03, DS2 Feb 05, DD1 Feb 08). When i grow up i think i'll become a UN Peace keeper....0

Carlamarie that is a really nice thing to do, hope someone will be able to help!
I've been into Coventry today - I'm sure it was this board? But thanks to who ever mentioned magic gloves (59p) + magic hat (£1) in savers. Our primark has loadsss of xmas stuff in. Fleece throws, cushions, tea towels, aprons, oven mitts, decorations & even duvets £16 for a double but they also had single & king. I took a sneaky pic so if someone tells me how to upload here I will, they had two styles. They also had candles, wrapping paper/bags & stocking fillers on each floor.
Though we don't need anything for the home, I did get dd1 a fab snowman jumper for xmas day & dd2b a little fairisle dress with matching tights. They had loadsa different onesies in. Def worth a look if anyone is local!
Poundland had loads of xmas things innot that I needed much but I love to mooch I got some cups & napkins for our elf breakfast, snow blanket (our naughty elf like to (cotton ball) snow fight!) & some make your own crackers (normal cracker size not mini).
Then lastly! I went to WH Smiths to hunt out xmas mags - I got two I cant remember the first name but it comes with 4 free coasters! And the ideal home xmax mag. Hopefully will get a proper sit down later with a cup of hot chocolate and have a look through both! So a good xmas shopping day :xmastree::snow_laug:santa2:Spreading a little Christmas joy all year round :santa2:0
