Lol, I think you must be right!
I was starting to wonder if it was God or something. (I'm not really a bible expert. Can you tell...?)

We have OH's parents coming to visit this weekend... We will be inviting them for Christmas (as we do every other year), I wonder how long it will take for them to tell us they won't come! It has been known for his mum to wait until the week before to tell us! My parents come every other year, they spend the next with my sister and we don't have these will they won't they issues with them.

Wish me luck as it is usually a long day when we get together, not because of hours etc, just because they are quite hard to spend time with.

Twinkle Ive discovered I am completely incapable of sitting still and resting even though csections booked for tuesday! Yesterday whilst pip was at nursery was my last peaceful time for foreseeable future and I spent it sorting the laundry and hoovering!!

Hugs noodle very frustrating for you x x

I can 2nd the countertop oven, we had one for 18 months until we could afford a proper one again. Think it cost about £40 and we did all our meals as well as larger meals for friends and family.

just cathching up - but pips mum - know exactly how you feel - i am now 4 days overdue, and wont be induced until the 14th - yet yesterday i was on the go from 7 am(hubby leaves for work at half 5), and didnt not stop until 8 last night - hence very tired!!!

Have sent my mum out today to get me any xmas books she can find so that i can while away next week (dont think this baby wants to come yet!) as im getting to scared to leave the house now - except school runs - although tomorrow daughter has flu jab, ballet lesson and both at a party late afternoon!!!

hmmm....maybe we need to sit down with hot chocolate, christmas gift guides and enjoy the peace!!!!:j

Hello - haven't posted on the thread for a while but have been trying to keep up!

You are all doing so well so far. We'll all be sitting on the couch all cosy under a blanket with a hot chocolate or glass of wine laughing at the rest of the country battling the crowds through the pouring rain come December! Hehehe!

I got a few things in June/July and feel like I've done nothing since! I got a few online orders through recently for things I'm crafting, so that will be my evenings sorted for a while!

I was in B&M last night - they have a lot of Christmas stuff out, some great plastic beakers with snowmen on them perfect for my Snowman Soup (4 for £3) and some china mugs which where £2.99 I think (too much IMO). I got all my candy canes though as last year I remember it being a bit of an issue getting the green, white and red ones. They seem to have more of the red and white ones. This is the best place I found them last year, so I got four boxes of 12 at 89p each! Bargain, similar ones in Sainsburys for £2.

    I best get busy!...
