Went to Tescos today and bought a tin of Celebrations and Heroes.
My children have lovely fabric advent calanders that have a little pocket for each day, just the right size for putting one of the chocs in.
When I first started doing this about 5 years ago, after filling the calanders, there would be loads of chocs left for Hubby and I, but because they have decreased the weight we do not get so many now:(

Think of it as saving your waistline ;) (though secretly I would also be disappointed!)

Up until last year,we used to pour both tins in the floor, and seperate them into 2 indentical piles. One tin we would have at Christmas, and the other we would take on our Easter break in the caravan.

This year , not only are the tins too small to do that , but one tin is only in date until Feb 13 !

how do you go about returning an item if faulty, i bought some toys in argos 3 for 2, but if for any reason they didnt work xmas day, will i still be able to return them 3 months later??
  • Aaaaaaaarrrrrrrrrrrrrgggggggggggggggfhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!

Sorry had to let that out had the most random convo with my bf this morning about us getting married!! I told him he not allowed to propose to me till after my 22-23 birthday as I'm only 21! He then said but we have been together for 5 years && we both know it will happen one day so why not while my mum is still here? Now I feel horrid although she will still be here in a few years!! Never mind!!

Kemo - on the back of the receipt (just checked mine) it says all their products are guaranteed for 1 year so if it doesn't work for any reason I'd take it that you are covered but keep you receipt. M&S told me this morning as well that if you buy anything from their store now their receipts are covering you for 3 months and not the normal 14 days (or whatever it is now!)
  • If anyone fancies a early bit of christmas movie time today at 1pm on true movies 1 Once upon a christmas is on and on true movies 2 twice upon a christmas is on :santa2:

I'm sure they are just the made or TV type films but I may make a hot drink and curl up with the cat and watch one and record the other
