I think she should be ok with most things as they are natural products. I have sensitive skin and haven't had any issues with their range but it's probably best to ask the staff if you're concerned about a certain product they're very helpful!
I can't post a link but if you google 'lush products eczema children' there's quite a few blogs & reviews.0 -
I don't like Body shop because they give you the hard sell and if you do find an issue with their products they don't believe you and you have to fight for a replacement or refund, whereas lush will gladly replace or refund your money.
They don't hard sell you but have an amazing knowledge of their products if you ask them, they are wonderfully helpful, I would advise popping into your local store or even phoning their Mail order Number they are quite happy to just talk to you about any products you might not be sure about, Lush will also give you a generous free sample of a product to try if you are unsure of how I will react on your skin, we have done this with several of their lanolin containing products for mum.
Also if you collect 5 of their black pots and take them clean back to your local store you can get a free face mask worth about £7
I am a big fan of lush.0 -

Thanks for your help! I normally just use bath oil & the cream the dr prescribes and as I dont have to pay for them and they work for us I'm quite happy to continue using them but I know how much dd misses a bubble bath so will go in next time I'm in town and just ask them! xSpreading a little Christmas joy all year round :santa2:0

You could go shopping to get her Christmas clothes. Just tell her they will be wrapped up. My dd always finds something that she can't decide about. I tell her to put it back if she's not sure, then get it for her as a surprise.
We have a grown up lunch ( not a McDs ) and if time we go to the cinema. My dd loves it as she grown up for the day . (well she is now at 15)chirpychick wrote: »That sounds lovely!!

Thanks everyone for lovely help & ideas!
Sugajen - thanks for tip about the wimpy kid DVD in home bargains, I'll pick one up next time I'm in!
Possession - my dads an artist so she uses all his stuff lol, she would like a snuggly dressing gown though so that's now on the list! Love the idea of presenting money/gift vouchers in unique ways
Snugglebunny - knitted hat is a great idea, she loves zebras too (only as they start with Z as she's a zoe lol) so I'll def check that out! Have enough notebooks, pens, lip gloss to open a shop with lol. A lot of dds friends and in particular her cousin are into designer stuff and she's starting to take notice. Her cousin in the last year alone had uggs, hunters,Barbour coat,Paul's boutique coat, juicy couture nag,Chanel bag (!!) and lots of other designer things - she's only 10!! Luckily dd isn't asking for any of those! (bar the hunter Wellies but he just likes the zebra socks lol)
Ameyturtle - hadnt thought of lush, up til now I've only gotten the girls the baby bath bombs but I suppose she is old enough for the other things now, that 'fun' sounds ace! For whoever asked about te eczema dd has it too and the baby bath bombs have always been great for her skin.
Chirpy chick - definitely an age thing, I'm a bit sad the piles decreasing lol, though probably be thankful when it comes to finding places for everything on boxing day!
Ownmyown - your days together sound lovely, dd and I already do this, she calls them 'mummy and daughter days' as she likes to get away from her sisters sometimes lol. We have the pictures booked for her birthday in November to see breaking dawn. I'd love to get her to pick the clothes first and let me wrap them but she still sort of believes in santa so not sure how that will work out!
Welshone27 - she had a pampering basket like that last year and it was a hit, she can always do with new jammies and a hot water bottle.
Thanks again everyone you have all been soo helpful - apologies if I have left anyone out

Does any one know if Lush products can be used on children with eczema? DD would love some but her skin is quite sensitive x
My niece has eczema and sadly she can't use anything like this at all, even Oilatum which was meant for eczema causes lots of problems and we've since read that it was the same for lots of people with ezcema. It might not be the same with your dd though, maybe if you went into the store or contacted them they might be able to give a sample so you could do a patch test on your daughter and if it was ok you could buy some for Christmas!
If she can use E45 products they do a few childrens bath things including bubble bath.~ What's for you, won't go past you! ~0 -
Hi guys do lush products go out of date? && if so how long is the date from when they were made?0

Do you give your daughter oat baths? When dd's skin was really bad we used to give oat baths, but I made them a bit more special by making oat bombs (foot of tights with the oats inside) and used to wrap in ribbon and add a little charm - you can then hang on tap while the bath is running or let them bob alone in the water. Dd used to love how the water went all milky and it did wonders for her skin!
My Rudolph monopoly came today too!! Looks great, came in a huge box with us priority and Jamaica written on the front, hope I don't get a letter from customs!!

They can do it is, it normally 14 months, the bath bombs have abit of a shorter life span meaning they are usable but might not fiiz or smell so strong when used.
Their products that come in bottles or pots have a little sticker on that tells you who made it and when and when it will be out of date however if you have a product and the consistency of it changes or it doesn't look quite right I would advise taking it back to your local store or emailing Mail order about it if ordered online, they will normally replace it.
As they are fresh products it might just be that it is a bad batch and they then try to remove the bad batch from circulation and fix any problems that have been experienced in future batches.
Hope this helps xx0
