My niece has eczema and sadly she can't use anything like this at all, even Oilatum which was meant for eczema causes lots of problems and we've since read that it was the same for lots of people with ezcema. It might not be the same with your dd though, maybe if you went into the store or contacted them they might be able to give a sample so you could do a patch test on your daughter and if it was ok you could buy some for Christmas!
If she can use E45 products they do a few childrens bath things including bubble bath.
E45 did nothing for dd but oilatum which I think is the oil and soap we use in conjunction to the prescribed emollient cream has worked wonders for her skin and we are in real control of her skin even the steroid cream just did nothing. I think it may just be easier to leave it as her bath routine is as I would hate to upset her skin just for the sake of a few bubbles! xSpreading a little Christmas joy all year round :santa2:0 -
Do you give your daughter oat baths? When dd's skin was really bad we used to give oat baths, but I made them a bit more special by making oat bombs (foot of tights with the oats inside) and used to wrap in ribbon and add a little charm - you can then hang on tap while the bath is running or let them bob alone in the water. Dd used to love how the water went all milky and it did wonders for her skin!
My Rudolph monopoly came today too!! Looks great, came in a huge box with us priority and Jamaica written on the front, hope I don't get a letter from customs!!

Hi guys do lush products go out of date? && if so how long is the date from when they were made?
Different items have different life spans but the shower gels/shampoos generally have a year on them.
The bubble bars survive longer than bath bombs - I wrap mine in cling film when I get them (I usually get them Christmas and Birthday in Feb) the bath bombs have to be used first, if you have a particularly damp house which we do they wont last as long. The bubble bars have lasted me up until this month but usually last a year - after being wrapped in clingfilm I put them in an airtight container.
Also I have 3 different skin conditions and I can use their stuff fine, as long as it doesn't have lavender in as im allergicEverything is always better after a cup of tea0 -
Can I ask if you had a despatch conformation from foyles? I haven't had anything apart from my order conformation, and just my statement and the ones hasn't been taken either, I ordered it on 6th sept.
Tried emailing them twice, no reply and I just get an answer phone when I call the number on the website..do any of you have a number I could try? I'm just glad it's still September and its not 20th of December!!0 -

Their products that come in bottles or pots have a little sticker on that tells you who made it and when and when it will be out of date however if you have a product and the consistency of it changes or it doesn't look quite right I would advise taking it back to your local store or emailing Mail order about it if ordered online, they will normally replace it.
As they are fresh products it might just be that it is a bad batch and they then try to remove the bad batch from circulation and fix any problems that have been experienced in future batches.
Hope this helps xx
Thanks for that! I bought a set last year as a gift && just found it in a box ooops! It doesn't have a use by date on but was made in October 2011 I don't use lush myself so didn't know if I should bin it or give it as gift this year?0 -

I received nothing from them at all, no replies to my email, no dispatch confirmation -nada!
Their customer service can definitely be improved, I noticed the money came from my account last week and the monopoly came today

no confirmation of dispatch, when I called, I asked if I would get an email to confirm it had been sent (like everywhere else does!) and he said 'no, because we have so many orders' ... how do Amazon manage then!!??
am not that impressed with them really as ordered on 6th too, only got confirmation of order and nothing since, have had to ring them twice, there was nothing when we ordered that said it was coming from the US either
not had mine yet, if not here tomorrow will call them again, I just used the number on the website and they answered both times, will try again0 -
