My Dad bought one back from work one Christmas in the Seventies. (He worked abroad).
My little sister was so horrified when he said what we had to do to it, she cried. Dad had to adapt it, so we could get the sweets out , without hurting it .:snow_laug:snow_laug
How do i get the little lauging snowman icon, or the sparkling xmas tree. Want to add to my posts :rotfl:0 -
good evening everyone, only 92 sleeps till santa! on thursday i am going to do my first big xmas spending spree (i, like most of you tend to buy during the year, but like to have a couple of months later on when i can have a day devoted to my xmas run-up) ive just made my list of what i want to get:
make up set for dd 12y
merida doll for dd 5y
make a start on some fillers for the wooden advent calender my dh is in process of making, and also to start getting bits for the hampers, ive chosen my themes, my mum is having a "relax" theme, shower stuff, candles, books, hot choc stuff. dads having a "chill" theme, dvds, beer, sweets. mil and her oh are having a "tea for two" theme, cups, biscuits, tea. my fil is having the traditional food hamper similar to the one he loved so much last year, dd 12y is having a "pamper" theme, stuff to compliment the ghd curlers and straightners i got from amazon earlier in the year (£35 for both, bargain rrp over £40 each!), and dd 5y is having a "baking" theme! ooh im so excited, lots and lots to keep me busy putting together over the next month or so!It's not about getting what you want, It's about wanting what you get.0 -

Just wanted to say a HUGE THANK YOU :rudolf: to who ever posted about the better Christmas list app, OMG it's amazing! Even hubby was impressed..just spent the last hour in our 'loft' writing out exactly what I have brought
Just a tip, I have added groups like, stocking, hampers and then family and friends, so I can keep dd/ds/oh stockings and my homemade hampers separate from main presents.
A bit gutted as it doesn't seam to update to my iPhone from the info I have put into the iPad..hoping it might do or I will have to do it again0 -
